Writing on his blog, Panasonic director of professional imaging Kunihiko Miyagi says the company has decided to “try and create another disruption in the industry and hit like the DVX100”.
The DVX100 was a popular indie-filmmaking camera of 10 years ago, alas only with a fixed lens.
I hope Miyagi San’s words relate to a interchangeable lens AF200 or a higher end GH4 aimed at the pro market.
The allusions to the DVX100 hint at it being reasonably priced, certainly I’d expect under $6k.

I have also been told a significant Panasonic GH4 firmware update is due with LOG and perhaps even raw.
