Comment on the forum In my opinion the Sigma Fp was a great camera milestone for creative shooting. As the first Sigma camera to shoot cinema quality 4K and the first full frame stills camera to record 4K RAW internally to SD card, Sigma have gained the attention of filmmakers and set a tone for a very bright future.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EteGNLBLStA Comment on the forum Above: Camera Conspiracies has a point! I’ve always been a big Panasonic shooter and no other company has done more to pioneer affordable 4K filmmaking. However I shouldn’t let my love of Panasonic’s cameras like the GH5 and S1H blind me to the failures. I’m afraid we need to talk about the G100.
Download the Sigma Fp version 2.0 firmware here The eagerly awaited Sigma Fp version 2.0 firmware has been released today. The camera is now capable of a DCI 4K 12bit HDMI RAW feed which can be shot in compressed RAW format with a suitable external recorder. Comment on the forum Officially a restructuring, but probably more likely the end. This will have support for phase-detect AF and incorporates Caldwell Optics advanced 5-element ultra-high index tantalum optics. The Caldwell Optics focal reducer remains the best you can get. In this EOSHD Big Interview I caught up with Bo-Ming Tong in Canada,…

This review also marks a milestone for EOSHD! After 10 years of blog posts, I am going to be doing YouTube…
Comment on the forum When I began shooting with my own Leica SL2 earlier this year, I found a lot to like about the high-spec mirrorless camera for filmmaking, and of course the SL2 is superb for photography. However, the battery power management has prevented shooting in 4K and 5K reliably, varying depending on the type of lenses used. After making Leica aware of this issue, Leica’s Head of Product…
