The latest news on cameras, from EOSHD
Canon today issued an unusual development announcement for two upcoming cameras. The first is a Cinema EOS C500 successor with 8K recording. The second is a 5DS style full frame DSLR featuring 120 megapixel resolution.
Panasonic today made the V-LOG firmware update for the GH4 official. It is a paid update $99? Absolutely. I will be buying it. It is affordable enough for enthusiasts. Pros especially must be very thankful. The last time the paid to add LOG via a firmware update it cost $3000 with the Sony F3!

[vimeo]http://vimeo.com/135688240[/vimeo] I have created a detailed guide to the Sony A7R II with my preferred best video settings for the camera as well as an exciting new colour-path for the camera which adds a Canon LOG style picture profile to the A7R II. This delivers much more satisfying colour and more easily than S-LOG.
[vimeo]http://vimeo.com/135666316[/vimeo] EOSHD is now 5 years old and 5 years proudly advertising free. I want it to stay 100% impartial. I grew up with the BBC and they are the role model for me. No advertising on EOSHD. Nice rhyme to it doesn’t it?! In part 1 of the Sony A7R II review we will look at the A7R II not as a consumer camera but as a professional cinema camera. The benchmark…
