    Letus Anamorph-X GP?

I just tried this out the other night and I like it a lot...rather have it on when it makes sense. It doesn't make sense in a lot of applications because the lens is actually kind of heavy so it won't work well in places where you need the GoPro to be as light as possible (like it won't work with the DJI H3-2D, H3-3D on Phantom, etc.) but for things like cars, etc. it's great. Will try out on my helmet at the track on Wed.

  2. You might want to wait until the end of the year. There is always a chance that Canon might do something awesome with raw in the 7Dii, but i'm becoming increasingly pessimistic about it. You also might want to try renting the 5D and seeing if you like(or can handle) the raw workflow.

  3. I put in the link earlier on for a reason. This is already happening. So...

  4.   There is the Olympus OM-D style curve adjustment in-camera yes. Haven't tried it yet on the GH4 but you're not wrong, it's there.

  5.   The GH3 doesn't have a full 16MP raw output on the electronic shutter.   So much better.   Since GX7 and GM1 Panasonic have had the full pixel readout for stills without mechanical shutter.

  6. Very very nice video, looks very sharp to my eyes. If you couple this type of sharpness with 13 stop of DR and amazing low light this is a very very good image. Now for $ 6500, it is not the best investment of you do mainly video, but the people that are going to buy this camera as primarily for photo journalism/sport/wedding are going to get a very very good video camera now.

  7. Thanxs! Just contacted my seller about the monitor. No I won't upgrade to GH4 as my camera is only one year old. I will use it for quiet a while. I'm not a person who upgrades whenever a new product is available - I think its over consuming. Bye the way not the camera but the person behind the camera defines if a film is good or not ;)

  8. As someone who actually tested this in person. The a7s was only slightly worse than the Canon 6d I had on hand. While that's not amazing, it's far from a deal breaker. Sony reps said that the firmware was in the very early stages and that the rolling shutter would be better than the 5d mark III by the time it was released. They pointed specifically at 12mb sensor versus the 5d mark III's much larger sensor and total read times.
