Its almost certain to be the case. Efficiency is vital. I have been deep in the code bunker this week, writing a special segment for the EC engine. This will greatly accelerate supporting new cameras, as it minimizes the amount of intervention necessary to conform data (with superior results). As of today, I have a new luma conform tool that is completely free of either hue or saturation distortion, and I am thrilled with it right now (not even Resolve's luma tools work this way). Now, I have to finish the second piece of the puzzle, and (accelerated) camera support will commence.2 points

Hey guys, I was at a garage sale the other day and some old lady was selling her deceased husbands lenses. I took a quick peek and found a motherload of vintage Leica, Zeiss, Minolta and a bunch of cheaper Russian lenses. Bought all of them for $300. Just ship me your camera and I’ll attach the lens for free and ship it back! Just want to spread vintage lens love around since there are so many. ?1 point -

Did you use organic oats??? That will give your footage a more "organic" look.1 point -

If you are experienced enough and have pro colorgrading skill in resolve, you may reach the limitations of the 10 bit LOG footage compared to RAW. I am talking about Premiere and FCPX users who are using LUT's to grade and call it a day. Or Lumetri Color adjustements and calling yourself a colorist. You can barely reach the limitations of 8 bit log with these tools...1 point

Yeah, I guess Nikon has a competition going on with Panasonic to see who can make the most cumbersome License purchase system.1 point -
Is anyone using the Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 XR Di II VC with their Pocket6K ? The one I've got I've had for years and it works perfectly but I'm having a lot of trouble with it on the Pocket6K in terms of electronic focus control. If you press the AF button it goes off for a while trying and generally failing to find a lock and after that it won't accept any more commands so you can't change the aperture or do another AF without un-mounting and re-mounting the lens. The obvious answer is not to use the AF of course but it is prone to doing exactly the same thing with my focus controller, particularly when its being driven backwards. It would be a pity to put have to put it on the banned list (as its a decent and very affordable stabilised standard zoom for the Pocket6K) but as it stands its going to have to be unless I can get someone to verify their copy. As I say, I'm pretty certain there is nothing wrong with my particular copy but if there is anyone one here who has the same combo if they could just check theirs then you'd be doing me a big favour. In a similar vein, if you have the time and could check for this on any other EF lenses you have (just press AF and see if it locks and then survives subsequent aperture changes etc) and have any similar rogue lenses then that would be a great help as well. Thanks1 point

Sounds as legit as the Nigerian prince's millions held up in customs and require you to deposit a small transaction fee to get those funds released and you getting a chunk of the millions.1 point -
I haven't done any extreme telephoto work but this is my favourite example of it in a music video https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/features/kendrick-lamar-kings-dead-music-video-zooms-black-panther-a8220841.html1 point

This project I was camera operator and gaffer. It was mostly lit with 2 Godox 60w LED's and a Pixel 220w LED's, we occasionally used a few other lights as well as natural light of course. Haven't run into any issues. Recording straight to an SSD. I don't have access to the footage but everything I've seen so far looks really nice. We have been lighting things pretty well though.1 point -

Sites and resources: The first place to look for Resolve info is the 1000+ page manual, which is excellent. It answers most questions if you're learning Resolve. BM forums for Resolve: https://forum.blackmagicdesign.com/viewforum.php?f=21 There are people there who use Resolve all day every day, as well as newbies asking the same questions over and over.. a great resource. LiftGammaGain.com forums are the best place to find professional colourists.. https://www.liftgammagain.com/forum/index.php LGG sub-forums of particular interest are: Colour: https://www.liftgammagain.com/forum/index.php?forums/color.9/ Looks: https://www.liftgammagain.com/forum/index.php?forums/looks.49/ Resolve: https://www.liftgammagain.com/forum/index.php?forums/resolve.36/ Lowepost is some excellent free articles and good (but not very busy) forums: https://lowepost.com Intermediate Codecs comparison table (very useful reference for proxies etc) https://blog.frame.io/2017/02/13/50-intermediate-codecs-compared/ PostPerspective is about post-production and has some interesting colour articles: https://postperspective.com PremiumBeat has some interesting articles: https://www.premiumbeat.com/blog/ MixingLight is a paid site but has some free resources worth checking out: https://mixinglight.com LUTcalc is a plugin that generates LUTs for converting between colour spaces and gammas, and although in Resolve I'd recommend using the Colour Space Transform OFX plugin over a lut (the plugin doesn't clip data like LUTs do) this LUT generator has a few colour spaces that the Resolve plugin doesn't have, eg, GoPro, so it has its uses: https://cameramanben.github.io/LUTCalc/LUTCalc/index.html1 point
