    Guess which camera !

Hi ! I recently shot a web ad for Wakaze, a japanese saké company in Paris. The morning of the first day of shooting, my camera mysteriously died on me 😕 So I had to use my first AC cam as a back up (he had it with him by chance !). The day before, one of the location (the appartment) wasn't available anymore, a nerve wracking start ! I then got another camera of mine for the rest of this two day shoot. So there are two cameras involved. Try to guess which camera shot what ! P.S. I had no say for the music... I'd rather have some good old rock music on a shorter edit to match the shooting style but they went with an electro vibe... Here is the video :

    Lenses

Sigma 50mm f2.8 APS-C Lens * * Fixed lens on the Sigma DP3 Merrill. 75mm FOV but easily enough resolution for 105mm when you need it. Quite decent macro performance too.

Sigma 19mm f2.8 APS-C Lens * * Fixed lens on the Sigma DP1 Merrill. 27mm FOV but with the resolution in the camera for it to be 35mm when you need it.

  5. That is true. I still am not sure why they wouldn't make an interchangeable mount like the old RED cameras. @kye I think it comes down to most people will choose 5 pounds over 10 or 15 if you can get the same function. I have heard AC's complain about the Komodo being very impractical for traditional use and really being made for solo operation with the touch screen being placed where it is. The Mini with the EVF/LCD is a better solution. But thats why they are the top brand I suppose.

  6. Yeah, the whole device is silly. If you need it, you bought the wrong camera to begin with.

  7. The R5 seems like a great option. Still sticking with my Pana S1.
