Couple shots of my BMPCC with my 14x Fujinon.

I'm starting to test out raw shooting with this camera again. The mlvapp workflow is definitely faster with my Macbook Air M1 than with my old PC when I first tried out raw 5 years ago. I just got a good deal on an Angenieux 8-64mm f/1.9 (as well as a loupe and pistol grip for Super 8 style shooting) that I'm dying to try out.

Hey guys, don't know if you've seen but great deal on the S5 at the moment in the UK. Wex have the camera + battery + grip + 12-60mm + 50mm for £1,599 after you apply the £200 discount code, meaning you're getting the camera for around £850. Incredible features and image quality for that price point. Nothing comes close as far as I'm aware. I wonder what this push is about, whether a new model is inbound, or whether it's about getting as many people trying Panasonic as possible to increase market share over time when people see what you get with a Panasonic camera compared to the competition. I hope it works. I am half-tempted to go full full-frame (currently using S1 and GH5s) but damn I love my GH5s and need synchro scan in my back pocket for work, and still prefer its ergonomics to the S1.

That is a B4 adapter, and the lens has an internal 2x. That lens is not really 4K ready, but it can do 2K pretty easy. It ends up being close to a 500mm f1.7 lens, and with the Doubler in it ends up a 1000mm 4.0 Parafocal lens. I bought the lens, B4 adapter, that battery pack on the rear and the cable on Ebay for 90 dollars 6 months ago.

I wouldn't risk to fly or send it to Eastern Europe right now! : D WTH of rig! Intelligence officers must pay attention to your toys, man! ; )

Seems first production units have landed... And that eye detection AF is simply sweet: No idea on settings and setup but that handheld stuff looks like pretty decent to me:

Darrrrrn! What a brave rig this is! @webrunner5 So you have a b4 or b2 mount adapter and a doubler or 1.4 extender between mount and lens or inside the lens? ENG pros don´t know any fear! So, how does the lens perform on general terms and on terms of the BMPCC, 4K ready? 🙂 cheers and thank you for lighting up my evening with such a cool setup!

I boarded up my windows a couple of years back.

Use wrong lens and composition and crop in post.. because you have 35 mega pixels! Set wrong exposure and white balance and lift colors and shadows in post.. because you have RAW file! Sorry, I don't call this trend "progress".
