Nobody cares but from a underwater video operator POV (mine š) Pana budget choice of reusing the same body could be a good one.
It happens once in a blue moon that two cameraļ»æļ»æļ»æļ»æļ»æļ»æ share the same body and control layout and this seems to be the case.
Nauticam has already a reasonably priced uw housing for the S5 II (3350ā¬ vs 4050ā¬ of GH6)and this seems to be fully compatible.
To be seen the 120mm port diameter for the FF lens.

5K global shutter, dual gain sensor and "the best dynamic range out of all their cameras". Shipping in October. People are already whining about the price of 3999 dollars ("ITS NOT FULL FRAME"). This is why we can't have nice things and I fear this might sell very badly of course.

Kinsons seems to be a very sympathetic fellow, encouraging proper tests of DR and in this interview he really stresses the dual gain conversion of this sensor - which is frankly amazing. A global shutter with dual gain conversion is unheard of before.
Interesting. I don't know much about Z-cam cameras. If I was in the market for a small box-style manual shooting camera then they'd be my first avenue to explore, but I'm just not that kind of shooter.
I guess we'll see what it's like when the reviews/test start to come out?
It will probably be more like 13 stops max, but will be interesting to see if I am wrong. It doesn't appear to be the GH6 sensor because it is 6k. Very interesting.
This is a great resource. Thanks for sharing. However, my version of Resolve 18.5 Studio cannot see the BRAW files. I click on the folder in Media Storage, but it appears empty in the browser. Has anyone else been able to get it to work? Or are these files just too new for the latest version of Resolve?
There is no second channel: these are mono mics with a bidirectional polar pattern. For location sound they are usually used with a shotgun or other cardioid/supercardioid/hypercardioid mic to form a mid-side (aka M/S) stereo rig.
Apparently the new camera isnāt called āpocketā anymore. Lots of people complained that it didnāt fit in their pockets I guess. Pretty silly really.
I had a Kessler Pocket dolly many years agoā¦..it didnāt fit in my pocket either but I never complained about it but then I try not to take things too literally š
