Absolutely BANGING Never had bass like this from a laptop. Taunt, precise, detailed. Sound stage is massive. Highs are a bit excitable but it adds to the energy. They are so entertaining. I have some special Berlin audio equipment on my desk and I have to say this LAPTOP is just as much fun. Can't quite believe I am saying this, so if you have a chance to try one out in a shop make sure you turn it full blast and play some Swedish rock through it What a bomb she was!

Doesn't always look good. I spent £6000 on a 1DX3 remember and got 32ms rolling shutter, worse than the 8 years old 1D C (24ms) in 4K 24p

Panasonic Lumix S1, Battery Issue?, Shut Off at 20%
Andrew Reid replied to PannySVHS's topic in Cameras
I have just noticed an issue with battery drain while the camera is off. I can come back to S1H later and battery is kaput. Maybe this is what PannySVHS is seeing... One time he looks battery is 80%, next time he picks it up it unexpectedly has just 5% left and powers down? -

Is it a RAW still then? I can see the case for the 5.5K/60P RAW for short bursts but 20fps mechanical shutter in live-view would probably do the job It has barely any blackout on the 1DX3. Europe is a motorsport heaven. All sorts going on. Or at least there was. Planning to go to Le Mans in September once stuff is back on the calendar.

Very nice shot What camera was it with?

Are those stills frames or video frames? I still think I'd prefer not to have to workaround 32ms rolling shutter on a £6000 pro DSLR but that's just me But it can. Dual Pixel AF in 4K/60p in 1.3x crop mode. The issue may be that the sensor goes into a different sampling mode in full frame 4K/60p and cannot remove the impact of Dual Pixel AF from the image (see 70D and Magic Lantern initial builds)

Yes sure I blame them, why wouldn't I? With great power comes great responsibility. If you have a monopoly over the internet you should do your best not to abuse it for the bottom line at every opportunity.

That's the impression I got at the Panasonic S1 unveiling in Barcelona. Really very into themselves. Here is the response from Cinema5D by the way: -

Yes absolutely. Let's focus on the good people. This literally only took me 2 minutes. So I'll give all the others a shout later. I need to get off the internet now and do some shooting! It is not about the number of friends you have in life. It's about the quality of your friends. And the same goes for the internet. You don't need to visit 10,000 people. Just follow a few good quality ones who are actually nice people who deserve it.

Just run the SQL commands. 1049 links to DPReview removed from EOSHD forums 398 links to Cinema5D removed from EOSHD forums PS I have met Chris and Jordan in person. Not in the least bit likeable on that occasion. -

No need to apologise. -
It's time to take a stand. DPReview for the umpteenth time refuse to lift the blanket ban on EOSHD URLs on the forum, so I am going to do the same. No DPReview links are welcome on this forum and they'll be deactivated automatically. Of course you are still free to discuss their articles, but I don't see why I should drive their traffic while they do their best to shut me out and censor their own forum users. To be honest it'll be no great loss if you didn't discuss their articles, in my opinion. Now the same goes with Cinema5D because I disagree fundamentally with the ethics of those who run the site. They have been absolute horrors towards EOSHD and never supported my presence as a rival from day one. They deleted their user's DSLR community, tossed an entire forum in the trash. Remember this and please don't draw attention to their articles which are in my opinion, blatantly misleading biased reviews, like with the 1D X Mark III rolling shutter situation and the hatchet job on the GH5 when that came out. You can get your info directly from me here instead so you don't need them anyway. Nofilmschool are banned for same reasons due to my view of their editorial and business ethics. With Nofilmschool this is also a zero loss. I don't think there's been a mention of them for years. Who reads that exercise in SEO any more? Please appreciate, that my appeal to all of you in this forum is....Choose your sources with thought and care!! This forum should be good quality info. I don't want it to become an aggregate of misinformation and a place to bookmark YouTube clickbait, page after page. Best of all, let's create our own content. We all have a camera. Let's test it, shoot with it, compare it. And lenses too, and software, and computers! There are so many good people out there doing superb cinematic work and camera reviews. Let's draw attention to them instead.

https://***URL not allowed***/canon-1d-x-mark-iii-review-and-sample-footage/ Here is the number of times Cinema5D mentioned rolling shutter in their 1DX3 review: ZERO Thanks to whoever calls it out in the comments... This is YET ANOTHER example of a reviewer trying to get into a camera company's knickers. It fucking sickens me. Somewhere a hipster laughs and another customer gets ripped off.

That you liked his content shows the audience are part of the race to the bottom too.

Crap specs but interesting they put a 2.7K mode in there. Is this the DJI influence?! There is zero reason to buy a H6D for video now GFX 100 exists. Ditto X1D II, when you can buy a GFX 50R. No point. Hasselblad need to completely rethink their entire product line.
-
Z-CAM also evolved from action cameras. The company was founded on Go Pro type cameras. How many here actually own a Komodo? I say give it a chance before talking it down.

Who remembers this guy from the camera scene? https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCptwuAv0XQHo1OQUSaO6NHw/videos He soon changed interests when he saw the amount of views coming in for the Macbook benchmark videos so he is now all about that. First for virtually every google search for the Macbook Pro 16 graphics benchmark topics. Max is playing the system very successfully. Hopefully less competition for written blogs... But I feel they are being pushed into oblivion instead... some kind of invisible irrelevance by Google and Facebook's bias, always recommending stuff hosted on their own services in response to searches and the news feed AI. Plus I hate digging for good stuff. Same old tech blogs dominate the first 2 pages of everywhere, usually. And it's mostly clickbait trash written in a rush and full of ads.

The low light and DR looks good to me. The last global shutter cinema camera I used was Digital Bolex and BM Production Camera 4K. Both not exactly known for their low light performance past ISO 200 The Komodo and Z-CAM both look like interesting cameras for the price to me. Z-CAM prices especially would have been unthinkable only 2 years ago.

Google monopoly is killing the competition. I don't use Vimeo any more due to the DMCA and playback issues but man, is Google doing their best to kill everything other than their own services. They are almost as bad as Facebook. For you guys to be top result worldwide for Iscorama is such an achievement but YouTube have put FOUR videos above you so they can reap the advertising reward during playback.
