Rumored price is $6299, dont think it will cost $4500 when C300III still cost over $10K The one with C200 sensor will cost $3499 though It should have rear screen, that for right is the mechanic for filppy screen

The new Macbook with Apple chip should change that relatively soonish (coming end of this year), and still waiting to see if RTX3000/Big Navi have X.265 10bit 422 support, if not it's gonna be a really long time for next RTX4000 series.

I m definitely keen on EVA-2 with L mount and similar size as those RF cinema cam. If they can push the 24MP more i be really keen too as I think it is the sweet spot.

More clear picture from CR, so just this vs Komodo price wise, for the spec this does look more tempting with 4k120 2k180, will it have pdaf 2 like r5? Wonder if the grip can be taken off or not?

I think Sony is quite aggressive with NR on a7S III, wonder is 12MP just too low res? Panasonic really tweaked their 24MP really well, at expense of no PDAF on the sensor.

Wonder will Pro mist filter work?

S1H also have crop when shooting 4k60P.

Tbh a lot of people sucks at colour grading that why Lut is all the rage. I m also not good at colour grade so I shoot on clog1 which is the easiest to get nice colour out hard and fast 😅 I got my vlog free when I pre-ordered S1 last year there was a promo for it.

The market will decide if product is a hit or miss unfortunately, in Asia this will sell like wildfire as Asians prefer miniaturism more than the westerner.

That's pretty good on Olympus! Though only E-M1X and E-M1 III. GH5/s should really got it too.. https://www.4kshooters.net/2020/09/15/atomos-brings-prores-raw-support-to-the-olympus-om-d-e-m1x-and-om-d-e-m1-mark-iii/

Here in NZ A7C is like $200 more expensive than S5, and you get free Sigma lens with S5 which sweeten the deal even more.

420 8bit, old style menu system, WTF are they thinking to charge $2000 on it?
-
Basically A7SIII sensor on to Cine camera? I be keen too! They really need to move stuff to L mount faster to make some momentum going

I m probably on the other hand of spectrum, going from LX100 to G1X III to G5X to RX100 VI then now to Note 20 Ultra, the main sensor on the Ultra definitely give RX100VI a run for the money on the wide end (more bokeh than 1" sensor at f2.8), but on telephoto the small compact is better cause phone sensor on telephoto end is still quite small. Smartphone win default on UW as no other compact offer this solution except the canned NIkon DL 18-50. I take photos of my niece and nephews and the parent usually ask me to send those photos and videos.. smartphone so much faster and easier than cameras especially transferring video footage. The AF on X70 is still quite bad, dont get it.

Interesting, I saw another video compare c200 RAW and Komodo, the c200 also retain highlight better than Red, but shadow area Komodo hold better.
-
Look really nice! How does it do compare to the P4K and Arri?

Interesting that BM fanboys got triggered after I post this on the Panasonic S1 group, something to do with guy not setting up BM camera correctly or something. Fanboys 🤨

Lol yeah, try to make themselves the authoritative on this matter, unfortunately there is no other outlet testing camera DR except them so they are the only one we got, still shocked that FX9 scored lower DR than FS7 though

Those guy are fucking sheep, useless to talk with sheep -
Is that the reason why Sony FX9 only got 11.5 DR (just got tested and comment filled with angry fanboy) while S1/S1H/S5 got 12.3 DR on cined test? The heavy handed NR ?
