  1. Yeah C100 is still pretty good after all these years, and their price came down a lot! Paired with sigma 18-35/50-100mm 1.8 you get really nice low light performance.
  2. it's the truth! We still rocking with C100MKII in 2020, though c200 is getting much more work lately.
  3. I am really curious with Round the bay Marathon coming up this sun how many more cases will pop up after the run. Then there will be massive panic like Italy. Currently non of our event jobs is getting canned atm, all going ahead. I cancelled a few orders and preorders.. better to have $$$ in the bank just in case at this stage.
  4. That lowlight portrait is pretty impressive, much cleaner than my current S10 Btw I cancelled my pre-order of S20u.. I think Mi10 Pro might be my next one.
  5. Guess companies will have to push back due to supply issues https://***URL removed***/articles/8598995705/coronavirus-what-effect-will-covid-19-have-on-the-photo-industry
  6. It will have 1 CFexpress and 1 UHS II card slot CFexpress for 8K i reckon? https://www.canonrumors.com/the-canon-eos-r5-will-have-an-sd-cfexpress-slot-cr2/
  7. Lol, though on this field I know some ppl only earn less than 30k and some is earning 6 figures, so there is definitely quite a variety in terms of money earned. The people who earned top dollar mostly are good with communicating to people, not necessarily having top gear or top skill.
  8. Company turn over, under a million Got a few client that gives a couple 5 figure jobs But then u have expenses like rent, electrcity, wages etc And there are more companies starting to hiring their own video/media personnel, we have 3 clients that turn internal last year.. so yeah its definitely a changing market.
  9. Well C500 II is FF so C300 can be spec of C500 but Super 35mm.
  10. Guess C300 III will finally have 4K60P that should have been on the C300 II, and RAW video like C200?
  11. ok so smearing could because of the AI stuff going ? Yeah that could be too, lens play a big part on sharpness as well.

    Fuji X-T4

I am pretty sure each company have a "secret" corespondent with each rumor site with the exception of SAR, their rumor tend to backfire on Sony big time 🤣 Canonrumors also have really good track record, i m not sure who run the mirrorlessrumor but at first they said there is no 8K from Canon and but later retract. Dpreview also start posting rumors too but I think they are probably more reliable as they tend to get actual products before public announcement, so if the rumor site post spec pretty close to what they getting on hand they tend to post it too, and because they just relink the rumor they are not breaking the NDA lol.
  13. There is great smearing on M10's photo, but there is non on M30 pro, though I do agree M30 pro look like it got aggressive sharpening. I really want a 108MP phone, but so far the examples is pretty disappointing on the M10, once my S20U arrived I could do a little compare to my friend's P30 Pro.
  14. Mi10's lens doesnt look sharp, I think i saw from gsmarena that the 12MP 2X zoom show better quality than 108MP punch in.. Really curious how much sharper would Samsung S20U will be, as the main camera is used from 1-4X zoom
  15. Sony definitely want a big pie on subscriptions. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/sony-breaks-ps5-pricing-tradition-142902794.html Also I wonder will the upcoming Canon Cloud service will be asking fees, that is one way to keep money flow going.
  16. Public debut in Birmingham on March, guess Andrew will be there? https://www.digitalcameraworld.com/news/canon-eos-r5-to-make-public-debut-at-the-photography-show
  17. Preordered S20 Ultra, should be enough as travel cam/daily cam for me and nice 8K B cam to R5. The DoF should be similar to APS-C on F4 for the wide angle, quite a bit nicer than F6.3 on normal smart phones. Xiaomi Note 10 Pro is much cheaper for the price but there is something iffy about their software and UI in general and of course the security.
  18. Oh man can't wait, should hopefully last a decade with this camera, mean while Sony still struggling to come up with 4K60p on their whole mirrorless lineup..
  19. For video EF + Variable ND adapter is the winner
  20. Really curious is it gonna be Nikon level or Panasonic level smoothness? Oly still have the smoothest IBIS out of all of them.
  21. I think R and RP just become low budget model to attract newcomer, it doesnt cost them much to produce in the first place since it mostly based on old tech, so R&D cost is really small. The R firesale at $1299 last dec definitely helped.. hence all the new comeback to R videos popping up on Youtube after released for a year.
  22. Well Canon and Red have cross license agreement, hence RF mount on the new Komodo and RAW Video on 1DX III. So out of all the manufacturers Canon is the only one that can make mirrorless cam with internal compressed raw video legally.
  23. https://www.sonyalpharumors.com/sony-says-coronavirus-outbreak-in-china-could-affect-image-sensor-and-electronics-business-enormously/ Luckily for Canon most of their product is Made in Japan or Made in Taiwan, and Olympus move all their stuff to Vietnam so wont be affected, wondering about Nikon and Panasonic will it affect them too? Since some of their stuff is made in China.
