Panasonic announcing a full frame camera on Sept. 25???
ntblowz replied to Trek of Joy's topic in Cameras
spec list from PV Guess AF is still weak but internal 10bit and RAW is a go? That will be the cheapest FF cinema camera for sure! 5D RAW can say good bye after all Wonder if A7SIII still use CDAF if they use same sensor? That should sorta confirms 24mp for a7siii since no way this will be a 12mp camera. -
I guess a7siii will be announced after Panasonic one? Only Panasonic can kill a7siii spec wise The corporate espionage is more active among camera maker than I have thought?

Well people love paying $1000 for Zeiss 55 1.8, the most popular prime among Sony users, way more popular than FE 50mm 1.8 for 1/4 the price, so if the lens is sexy enough people will buy it nevertheless. And $600 for a lens that have really sharp f1.8 is good price, even Zeiss 55 need stop down to f2.8 achieve nice sharpness, but Nikon one is similar sharpness at 1.8 and 2.8 unlike Zeiss. (downside is it is bigger and heavier than Zeiss, laws of physic), only the much more expensive $1500 Zeiss 50mm 1.4 can compete $600 Nikon 1.8 sharpness wise. -
In NZ the stock will arrive next week, so no long wait like the original Mavic Pro

Yeah, somehow what I do with my money become his personal business lol

Let see z6- $1999 - fully weather sealed, no crop 4k30p, 10bit hdmi out, 3.68 million dot evf, 2.1 million dot LCD intuitive touchscreen (no touchpad), Nikon colour scene, shorter battery life, expensive XQD card and only 1 slot, only 273 af point. A7III $1999 - partial sealed (non for bottom), only 8bit hdmi out, 1.2x crop in 4K30p, old 2.36million dot EVF, really medicore 921k dot LCD with ancient touchscreen tech. (cant use for anything else except AF point), but got touchpad funciton. No Video AF with most adapted lens, longer battery life, dual SD slot, 693 af point which cover most of the screen. -
It’s easy tell who is Sony fanboy on this thread lol Meanwhile I put the Olympus 9mm on A7iii to have some fun, I might get z6 and dump A73 when it is available to buy. Sony colour is still meh after using for a few jobs now, might get that ninja V too.

Wolf33d is just cry wolf for nothing Remember last year wolf33d said a7s3 will be released one month after gh5 and keep telling people hold it off? Well we all know how that turns out lol

Its on DJI website, oops its actually 11.6 stop according to DJI on X4s and Phantom 4 Pro/Advanced https://www.dji.com/zenmuse-x4s https://www.dji.com/zenmuse-x5s
-
According to DJI X4S is 11.8 stop and X5S is 12.8 stops, so more like 1 stop DR.

Yeah first time for me to hear the sensor actually get burned, unfortunately I did encounter Sony A7sII overheat and shut down on me. This is the combo I use for event, unlimited recording time, full size HDMI out, long battery (well C100mKII battery is much longer with bigger battery), and never overheat whatsoever.
-
Unfortunately the newer Sony cameras cant be hacked, they taking out the app in camera. My friend's friend just burned his A7S sensor for shooting over 3hrs straight..

Samsung eying return to camera market as Galaxy smartphone shipments fall

Or just reskin the rx1rii and charge $1000 name tax, my bet is priced similar or higher than Q -

We shot event with live switch/live stream/live projection + QA with couple c100mkii and gh5s, works really well, full size hdmi out is a must cause I break so many mini/micro hdmi out cables in the past. We also use 5D3 and M50 with C100mkii for some other shoots, they match really well together vs matching with other brand of camera. (like the GH5S and A7III I own). I wouldnt do C100 on Ronin, too heavy and big for all day shoot, the 6D2/80D will be better for that, especially with touchscreen autofocus and fd and smaller size/weight overall. For stage event 30P is enough, i dont think i ever have to do a slowmo for those kind of stuff.

Just got a gx7 with 14-140 f3.5, the grip on gx7 is more comfortable to hold than gx85, wonder why Pana went backward with it? The lens is just much smaller on M43 vs other bigger format. I have to get a bigger bag for A7III since my small bag cant hold it anymore with bigger lens.

Man it used to be every 6 month for PC when there are many competitors on the filed (intel/cyrix/amd for cpu and matrox/3dfx/s3/ati/nvidia for gpu), and gradually evolve to yearly then to every few years once competitor dies off or become less competitive. -
Our company adds 8tb hdd every year.. so it can chew a bit in the long run, we are thinking of going cloud storage as our file server is running out of rack to host new hdds

Well the OSMO for X5s/X4/X7 is still not happening (nearly 2 years ago they promised but nothing so far!) , so I doubt it will ever see the day, since all their cpu is on the main airframe of the drone is which is a lot bigger than camera body.
