    Anamorphic means character...and of course aspect ratio. For our digital tools , the anamorphic allows us to get something called "cinematic look". These digital devices get something more organic with anamorphic... I think these is what we want more than aspect ratio The first anamorphic video I saw was these: https://vimeo.com/33047750 I saw that and though these is what I want. Really like the frame, aspect, and look. 3.55 is an extrem aspect but 2x anamorphics are affordable. However 3.55 got something really special if you can do a good frame. Cheers!

    I got excellent experience with these company ... The clamps are just superior. I also send a PM last week and didn't have an answer yet. I'm sure you will get a response , but you will have to wait. Be patience, the clamps are really good. I shot a short film last week with one redstan. It allows to shoot with confidence without worries. It's light and strong, so your lens is save. I think Redstan is out of town. As I said , I tried to contact him and also send cash through paypal, but don't have an answer yet. I'm not worried, because I made trade before and everything was fantastic. Just be patience.     Hi, I think it make only sense to use with a anamorphic 2x, so you get 2.66 and not the extreme 3.55 With century 1.33 is no point I think.   To get MJPEG do the following: 1. Creative Mode------Set Manual movie mode 2. Motion Picture------Rec Mode------Set MOTION JPEG 3. Rec Quality---------Set VGA   If you got the Hack on GH2, these settings above will bring you 1920x720 with anamorphic 2x straight out of the card ready to edit in mov codec.   Best regards.

    Does anybody knows what happend with 5DtoRGB on Mountain Lion. I can´t do the batch work. I drag the private folder to the app but it doesn't do the job as batch. I still working on FCP7 and need to transcode to prores. I know there is another apps to do the work but my choice is 5DtoRGB. Maybe there is not yet an updated version for lion mountain. I think that's the reason. Best regards.

    Fantastic! Really great to see anamorphic BMCC!  How did you feel with these BMCC Anamorphic to shoot and how different is compared with GH2 Anamorphic set? BMCC is a bigger camera and also heavy I thing. GH2 is more discret also.  Did you shoot just with bmcc and tripod? Or did you use a monitor also? What I like on these cam is the chance to use minimal accesories to be more invisible.  How did react the people with the cam? Did they notice it? Best regards.

My last work I decided to shoot in 4:3 with anamorphic.     Thanks for the review Andrew. So we already have a great and affordable battery solution. Who knows something about a view finder for BMCC? I use on gh2 lcdvd viewfinder but don't know if it's posible to attach a viewfinder on BMCC. Best regards.

    Is the apple compressor settings done with compressor 3 from FCP7? I did the same to get 3.55 footage , but I notice some gamma shift if I use compressor to transcode to prores.. A little but there is. Best regards.

    Yellow, thanks for the info. And what do you think about grading? What will better to work on grading? prores or nativ avchd with your workflow? I though that the imac will handle better prores to work with grading, twixtor, etc. Axel, As I said you need the paid version CS6 to get full preset included avchd. Best regards.

    Kasper, do you have a trial version? Only with the paid version you got full premiere CS6 with all posible sequences settings that can handle avchd. I like to use 5dtoRGB. It's take a lot of time but is the best transcode to prores for GH2. Best regards.

    Hi JG, Isn't at all difficult to aligned. These time was my first shot with Moller, so I got my first experience and sometime I got hurry to shot and misaligned some shots. My adaptor is a crap...You need a good one to handle better. Here are 4 more videos with Moller... Best regards.

    Hi, It won't be so easy... GH2 don't have headphones jack and you can use only miniplugs (3.5) (2.5 with adaptor) to plug into the camera. One of best options to get good audio directly to GH2 is videomic rode and videomic rode pro. Later I will check another options that require to buy external recorders, etc... Best regards. Francisco. P.D: GH3 improves audios , there you have headphones jack and 2.5 miniplug for microphone.

    [font=arial,helvetica,sans-serif]Great Stefan, I can tell you these: I will have in total three diopter 0.5+. With one diopter 0.5+ you can focus at 85cm.
