Brad, Take a look on these... http://www.cinedigital.tv/como-activar-el-soporte-para-opencl-de-premiere-cs6-en-imac-2011/comment-page-1/#comment-3448 These guys are from Mexico. You can translate with google and will get the point. They have a Imac 2011 and have a method to activate the openCl supported card. Best regards. Francisco.

Hi, These information is on the Andrew's anamorphic Book. Best regards. Francisco.

I need a B cam for my gh2. What will be better? GH1 or GF2? Best regards. Francisco. P.D: I use Canon fd prime lenses.
-
As I know , there is no anamorphic zoom lens. You have to attach to your "normal lens" the anamorphic with a clamp. The "normal lens" can be a prime or a zoom, but always is better to use a prime lens to get better light transmission and sharpness. I think the Andrew's anamorphic guide is very clear with these topics. Take a look again. The combination between lens and anamorphic lens is crucial to get good performance, no vignette, flares, etc... Best,

What I really like from GH2 is the chance to adapt almost any lens on it and specially anamorphics lens. These is because is a mirrorless cam and the flange distance is short, so it make posible to adapt more lens. So you get less vignette and correct infinity focus. What is the case with these new cam? Can anybody helps on these issue? Cheers!

GH2 plus anamorphic won Venice Horizons award 2011.

True! We need a better compressed version to see. Cheers. -
Canon, panasonic, or sony are the tools, but the thing is, who is behind the camera (like Andrew said) and what is in front off the camera. All of them can be cinematic. Everything else is just about a personal choice, and we have to play creatively with what we have. One thing is sure, we are lucky to have access to these tools for cinematography... Best regards.

Hello Mike, Maybe is the card. What card do you have? When the camera said "No valid picture to play" , I just turn off and turn on the camera, then it works fine to see the clips. I use intra esting. Best. Francisco.

;D Good luck!

Great! If the lens hasn't a front screwmount you can use these: http://www.redstan.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=33_37 Cheers. Francisco.

Hey Toggen, The canon 50 will be great for anamorphic. But you need the anamorphic lens...Did you buy it? You just tell me about the lomo's adaptor. Is not easy to find a good Lomo and probably is expensive. I recommend to check redstan.com Alan can suggest some anamorphic lens to buy. Good luck. Francisco.

I suppose no one. The slr magic is to wide. Do you have the anamorphic shooter's guide? http://www.eoshd.com/anamorphic-guide There's all information about configuration between lens and anamorphic. Saludos. Francisco.

Hi, take a look on these: http://www.eoshd.com/content/558/kowa-anamorphic-lens-review I recommend you to buy the anamorphic shooters guide and go to shoot to share your footage and then we can comment. http://www.eoshd.com/anamorphic-guide Sometime you can get a good anamorphic "on the paper" but maybe the anamorphic just isn't in good shape. We need to see the image. I got some lucky to get a good anamorphic Moller Anamorphot 32/2x. It suppose not to be a good one , but these in particular isn't bad. Antilhue's Train is comin' If you need a good quality clamp or accesories these is the place: redstan.com Good luck! Francisco.

Hi Kinora, I think you need to invest on http://www.eoshd.com/gh2-guide-book to make your own decision. For me the GH2 is a far better cam than 60d. The GH2 has a better balance between video and foto and 60d is more like a foto cam. That's my personal point of view. The gh2 with the hack is a really superb cam and you got better sound. For low light perfomance you will need a fast lens. The gh2 comes with 14-42 or 14-140. There are good lens for run and gun but are slow. For low light you will maybe need the panasonic pancake 20mm 1.6. So you got at least a zoom lens ( I recommend 14-140 ) and the 20 mm 1.6 fast lens. Both are automatic focus and can be use in automatic mode. Saludos. Francisco.
