    Panasonic G9 mk2

Also, full size HDMI and USB-C 3.2 gen2. Basically, a faster m43 sensor with the body/ processor of the S5ii. You could easily switch back and forth between the G9ii and S5ii and not need to relearn anything. Based on latest rumor, Panasonic will also announce a GH6X/GH7 with PDAF at the same time.

  4. The X body looks the same except without the red dials. The poster also mentions that both bodies will have a Phase Hybrid AF.
  5. We may know by the end of this week as more leaks come out.
  6. It looks like there will be an S5ii and S5iiX along with a 14-28 Macro lens. No details on what the X body brings. Announcement should be in next 2 weeks based on prevalence of leaks https://digicame-info.com/2022/12/lumix-dc-s5m2-dc-s5m2xlumix-s-.html
  7. This person has a bit of history with leaks and mentioned that the S5ii will be released early next year and will not have DFD https://disqus.com/by/leakymcleakface/? He also hinted at this 3 weeks ago in the PTZ PDAF rumor comments.
  8. The GH6 is now $1497 at Adorama after the additional $200 instant rebate. That is $700 off the initial list price. https://www.adorama.com/ipcdcgh6.html

  10. While Nikon is licensing their mount, it looks like they are charging a large fee based on the difference in pricing for Tamron lenses between Nikon and Sony. This will not bode well for both Nikon and Canon. https://www.zsystemuser.com/nikon-z-system-news-and/the-z-mount-tax.html

    Olympus OM-1

The details provided by the admin at 43rumors was that the new body would have the same sensor and same battery as the OM-1. He assumed it would be a lower price OM-1 so similar to E-M5. The same battery and same sensor would also apply to an E-M1X replacement. There was also mention of 15fps. This spec was a bit confusing as the E-M5iii already supports this, but if it refers to full C-AF for the mechanical shutter then that is beyond even the OM-1. We will get clarity as more details leak. OM is likely trying to clear out the remaining E-M1X bodies in advance of this release.

    Olympus OM-1

The person who posted this was a beta tester for the OM-1 and would have access to a reliable source at OM.

    Olympus OM-1

Yes, it would be similar to the top end bodies from Canon and Nikon that have a built-in grip. I presume it will be called OM something since they started with the OM series now.

    Olympus OM-1

It looks like the new OM body coming this fall will be a replacement for the E-M1X. I would expect to see some additional updates to video that could also come down to the OM-1.

    Fuji X-H2S

The dpreview video mentioned and show a number of AF issues with both photos and video. I saw lots of missed focus in the video and eye AF is not very accurate. The 40fps photo mode drops to 15fps if you specify focus priority, otherwise you end up with lots of missed focus. I am also seeing wobbles and jerking with the IBIS in video. The video specs sound great but for run and gun it looks like Fuji is not there yet.

    Olympus OM-1

Adaptors could be a tight fit with the OM1 https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/65980877 “Heads up for anyone who uses metabones or viltrox EF to M43 adapters. Some of them do not fit on the OM-1 because they did not leave enough room. The adapter back hits the hump. I tried the metabones EF-M43 T adapter and viltrox speedbooster. I imagine other adapters could have the same issue,”

    Panasonic GH6

Panasonic's excuse for not implementing PDAF seemed quite poor and hard to believe.

    Olympus OM-1

You may need to wait for the next shipment. An OM UK rep mentioned yesterday that all of the OM1 bodies allocated to the UK were sold-out already and most of the body+lens kits as well.

    Olympus OM-1

This video compares the out of camera JPEGs but also the RAW files in Adobe, CaptureOne and OM Workspace between the OM1 and the EM1iii at ISO 25600. The RAW file comparison clearly shows less color noise and greater DR with the OM1 from all 3 RAW editors.

    Panasonic GH6

The skates specs leaked this morning suggests it will have V-Log and will likely be priced at $2300 US “The LUMIX GH6 contains V-Log/V-Gamut for the first time in LUMIX G Micro Four Thirds cameras and provides 12+ stops, and even 13+ stops, of wide dynamic range using Dynamic Range Boost mode. “

    Olympus OM-1

From the same article he posted 50MP Hand-held High-Res images that was shot at 500mm (150-400 + 1.25tc). I am surprised it could work at that focal length hand-held. This should bode well for most static scenes.

    Olympus OM-1

According to below google translation the person from that article was using OM Workspace to process their RAW files. "In the software (OM Workspace, since Lightroom does not yet know the OM-1), an AI DeNoise from Topaz that has been optimized for the OM-1 is already integrated. I tried that."

    Olympus OM-1

According to the article OM is licensing AI-Denoise from Topaz.
