did everyone that paid a year ago get the original model. did they get a refund. did they solve the issues. are black magic using monies camera purchase monies over a 5-10 month window to pay china part costs. a posh clever corporate version of a kickstarter. not flaming or defaming just fuckin askin :)

MR VID. as i said you are smokin to much crack man. you really need to go shoot something for an engineering firm and hope something rubs off on you. by your comments you are suggesting that when i say my product is the best clamp on the market which it is your comment infers that i am not telling the truth. i suggest you redress the balance by stating your clamps are the best and finest quality on the market. at some point in the future someone that has both can state which has tighter tolerances and which has none. i maybe a mental but i am not a fucking liar. your stuff is a disgrace and you need to do better. maybe less time on customer service ;) and more time machining something more than hole air
-
Don't be fooled by others who claim exceptional quality but use the same material or worse! We offer the best bang for your dollar! above quote from your ad you purchased a clamp from me then started selling an iron plumbing part i made a joke about it on some 5d forum then you changed to china tubes. the clamp i sent you was not an extension tube. if you where the 1st clamp man it is indeed a piss poor show yes no. you where not my metal is superior better in every way because it is a superior material grade much thicker as well with a tolerance engineered into it. be proud of your 3 holes for that is all your input into them. 3 air holes is all that is made in the usa. why not find a local engineer get him to make stuff and support your country godamit. must be plenty amazing ex ford engineers in detroit that would make something real pretty and proper
-
the metal i use is not british. british steel got taken over and shut down by an indian billion dollar man. quote Whats the difference between your tubes, clamps and hoods? you need to lay off the crack fella if you believe my products are the same as yours quality wise. if you cannot see it you have one of my clamps you purchased it years ago before you started selling you china ext tubes i think you know it is not the same. i make stuff that fits. you know fits as in tight fit. in the old daze they called it made to measure. i am interested in the relationship of screw threads and how they relate to other screw threads. optic to optic coupling turns me on man. and i offer the tightest coupling in the history of the clamp arts :) let us have no more tittle and tattle about the equality of anamorphotic clampishness.
-
no problem just make something man i am sick of only getting sales based on cleaning up after you guys. you stated that my stuff was the same materials if not cheaper than yours  do you really believe that really deep down cross you popeish heart and hope to die  really

contact the clamp seller and ask for a refund. purple fasteners is so catholic so satanic and popeish : )

iscorama was the generic term for the unique complete anamorphic optic with the special 2 front focus optics on the isco system. you will find some fixed focus optics labelled iscorama https://secure.flickr.com/photos/34211301@N00/4962962403/in/photostream these where part of a very expensive package called the iscorama set. isco 36 or a 42 and a separate fixed focus projection optic as above plus mounting bits. total shoot and projection system. https://secure.flickr.com/photos/34211301@N00/3898632626/ your lens is fine i think as long as it has the 2 focus front optics i believe i was the one that came up with the term baby for these small things so you can blame me. calling a 2 kg door stop an iscorama is taking the piss.. i do not give a shit really eyes is nots der anamorphosis police :) i just wanted to highlight it so anyone tempted to buy would at least ask the guy some technical questions.
-
i assumed he was one of the guys on this site so was looking for a little keyboard banter. was hoping he would explain how he merged the small special iscorama focus optics onto such a big bastard lens  and all for a fraction of the cost of even a faulty iscorama.

big difference sankor 16f needs no support no massive close up diopters. is usable every day 25ft min focus compared to 5ft...the scam is the term iscorama. nuttin wrong with earnin but trading on ignorance of morons is not nice butt as i said some folks seem to deserve it.

unless you got it for free send it back. so much junk around life is to short to be messin with dodgy proskar. the proskar was not forgoten it was well known to super 8 shooters. i got no money i do not care about quality perfect i will buy a used proskar. it was a so so lens in the 70s and it has been getting worse ever since.. eiki, singer, sankor and kowa prominar 16s are better safer option put camera on a tripod find somethin 6 feet away..focus your camera lens get it nice and sharp set stop 2.8. set proskar to 6 feet on scale hold up in front of camera lens fiddle for 5 mins if you cannot get focus send it back. some lens are just not worth the effort unless they was freebie or unless you wanna get away from your wife or girlfriend by spending time destroying bad optics

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Iscorama-Isco-2x-Anamorphic-Lens-DSLR-GH2-5D-60D-5d-BMC-Red-sharp-very-clean-/171015784636?pt=Camera_Lenses&hash=item27d155c8bc what a joke who are these buyers do they have a brain i thought nobody had any money calling this an iscorama is fraud to quote mr charles manson and baron edwyn de rothschild some people clearly like being victims. and they give positive thanks for the rape on feedback :)

question for la 7200 users.. is everybody using 2 step rings for connection of anamorphic to taking lens? which in theory must be creating extra distance between the anamorphic and camera lens and thus adding to vignetting issues when using wider angle optics yes no?

canon ssc and early fd are mighty fine japan refined existing tens technology the russians mainly copied. the russians in the 1950s just used industrial espionage..like china today. japan said let us take these recipes some 70-90 years old and make them better or at least not make them worse. after ww2 japan took on the world and until corruption and western blackmail kicked in they where doing very well. japan has many technologies that will never see the light of day because of big oil and big nuke that is why they are being destroyed now.

Storaro is was just to good.. most directors find it impossible to work with people like him. he has more insight more vision to intellectual. gordon willis and sascha vierny also. directors want yes men not men that say that idea is not good man : ) you need to be talented and strong to employ such talented beasts. Apocolypse Now vs The Last Emperor tricky how about this beauty a masterclass that has been copied by many directors. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=na1gLSHM0N8

he did if you click on the vimeo link it says his name.. i said also used on this film leon. :)

the zeiss spherical part is the only computer designed part of the system shiga of japan was 2 brothers cutting cylindrical anamorphic optics by hand mainly for jdc and technovision. many mathematical calculations done the old way with an abacus. original anamorphic designs would have been with spherical english cooke speed panchro optics recipes going back nearly 100 years. cooke are probably the greatest optics ever made for the movies and probably the simplest design. introducing more complex faster zeiss optics into a hand made anamorphic system with different focal length without a super computer redesign will sometimes make for a less than perfect optic. panavision in the early 90s in canada designed a more perfect lens using military super computers of the time. boring optics. hand grinding any optic is a dead art it is surprising distortion is not worse.

no lomo bullshit proper motion picture optic good enough for vittorio storaro one of the greatest dp's in the history of movies. also used on this rather tasty looking film. https://vimeo.com/58336477

well it would be hollywood quality optic look at that projector system 35mm that was for super posh routes. the inflight company would pull the whole projector system out and replace with a serviced one rather than fiddle on the plane mainly for security and safety reasons. they must have had teams of people working near the airports. the design of your one as i said looks late generation with the custom stuff a defective lens would not of left the factory kowa where doing projects with isco but also competing with them for contracts japan would be way to proud to be slipping faulty stuff into high profile contracts. those optics would probably have been made by the same dept that made the kowa movie optics if you look at the optics you can see clearly they look nothing like most kowa.
-
no t really sure all the inflight models are either 2x or 1.75 like the centavision company sometimes isco and kowa optics where mixed together.i think inflight started in the late 60s i had a rare 1.5x one once very early isco.. they messed about with film formats projecting super 8,16mm and 35mm flat pack pull down complex projections systems costing 10s of thousands even back then so the lens optics would all of been custom order maybe compression matching whatever new system they where using.high end jet set entertainment...some optics are lovely small others as big as a isco 54. i have seen so many trashed ones as the flight crews worked the projectors, nearly all will have dryed up focus helicoid grease. lovely clean flares on some better than iscorama the compression differences probably relates to reduction prints of 35mm hollywood scope movies reduced down to different film formats. that optic looks like a later generation so would of come off a posher plane offering 35mm projection maybe. london new york maybe.. cheaper trips from luton airport to benidorm probably projected super 8 using a proskar : ) 4 mins in check out the lovely old inflight projector. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnFCpz2pmf0&feature=related

it is really quite sick to see fake or real it is a fad reaction to the sterile image from the alexa.. vintage optics, cinemaskope fucking torch down the barrel. bunch a scum. it will be washing up liquid and meat pie adverts next. this is one of my faves shot on lovely 35mm film.. weather was bad i here most of the time still looks magic. https://vimeo.com/groups/120481/videos/13863937

proper custom optic.. any isco or kowa inflight optic will be better quality and sharper than most depending on past history use abuse. these would have cost a lot more than regular kowa 8z or bell howell
-
nice optic most are trashed they where designed for movie projection on 707 airplanes in the 1970s. the tavistock institute and the cia also used them for mind control work cinemascopic image projections into each eyeball. like the parallax corporation the inflight group did a lot of custom optics for the military. sometimes kowa sometimes isco was used. check and clean the body if blood stains are spotted

how about bozo here buying an iscorama 36 from one of those fucking mega dealers in eastern europe got it cheap buy it now 1600 euros. it arrived body was mint condition looked inside no glass anamorphic glass. the front 2 focus optics where all happy and new looking but behind them nothing an iscorama spherical optic. no bent glass anywhere. i contacted the scum trader and he replied by saying he tested it and it worked well : ) got my money back after plenty of abuse...i then gave him 300 euros for the 2 optics and the body
