Advice on eBay anamorphic lens listing (No advertising)
tony wilson replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
state of the art coatings meaning modern no flare.. super high resolution zeiss sharp,no extra magic focus optics so a dual system. focus is not a proper helicoid is a bit shit and clunky. designed to be locked off on someones face not rapid focus adjustment a nightmare to take apart. -

design for a zoom macro lens.. you need to get into the macro zone to use it. this is what they called an aspheron back in the day. if you have any regular camera lens with macro adjust focus in the macro area for sharps you need a zoom through wide angle which has extra opticks innit

BIG NEWS - Hands on with CONTINUOUS raw recording on Canon 5D Mark III
tony wilson replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
eyes agree der magic lamping fella alex also said der image is tear ring not sure if he means cryin or tearin assunder my guess is der camera is literally pullin itself apart. eye tells ya canon are not goona repair warrant a camra in 2 pieces. dis hack is the devils work. in der name of jesus jim jannard someone stop these evil doing hacker children. i tinks use fellas should wait for der pocket black magic camera in 2018 -
stuff can be repaired it can still be used the main issue is the theory goes top wack..top price perfect condition. crap condition or not perfect less money simples. many sellers price for perfection regardless of shit condition. on auctions sometimes the high bidder does not help. at some stage in the future someone is gonna have to break the lens down and repair. that price should be minus factored by a least 300-500 euros.

best iscorama ever :) the holy grail in the old days the last one with the beaulieu part had damage and was over priced for condition. if it is a relist it is worth 1400 euros. in perfect condition it is worth at least 3000 euros . in the future more. with all this raw hacking even at pure 4k that is still super low resollution for the iscorama. cinegon is a schneider name meaning they worked with isco on that lens and beaulieu.. the same schneider people also worked with leica on the leicina camera 4 different teams of top optics guys.. working on optics for cine cameras the only down some of the cinegons around well most of them that where made where latest modern spec so a little higher resolution and multi coat. super rare mc even rarer single coat. super expensive in it's day more expensive than the cameras. as time goes by i think we are going to see more bruised and battered iscorama coming up. if that is the case min of 500 euros should be knocked off the price unless you are rich and do not care.

this is a superb optic... in the owners video he is wearing a gas mask do not be scared the owner is not a pervert just an anamorphic lover. maybe lover is the wrong word in this context any way the lens is small compact and great quality. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300905958653 -

Up for auction: Elmoscope II Anamorphic x2 rebranded Kowa
tony wilson replied to brucker's topic in Cameras
that video is great..great way of showing off corner to corner sharpness real world. simply superb sharp optic you got.. worth more than bell howell i think. these would of come from the 8z optic batch elmo would of tested and rejected some. from a factory situation emoscope like this should be mighty fine. the clamp needed is out of stock i did one which had 62mm thread with a retention ring gonna be a few weeks before i get around to doing more. i have a new design one now but it is 52mm so a little more distance but still ok. nice job on the video : )- 4 replies

Filmmaking tips from J.J. Abrams - plus is he actually any good?

A remark most commonly used after a party has told a ridiculous/unbelievable story so you believe jj is the new messiah? i think he is a very naughty cia boy who has been given a bigger full size train set than the toy sets orson welles was given. what do we get hack sack spiel burg clones. genetic splicing of the spiel and the give me all the money luc ass. the hollywood force is strong with this cia turd but he is just todays ben and jerrys flavour. wut you say. hollywood is the machine factory. the computer inputs, stories arcs and themes are supplied by langley virginia cia. bad guys always needed for perpetual war. humans as tiny cogs to be crushed and vaporised nuked ground up and spat out. surprised they did not give benedict cumberbatch an islamic beard. wut is it not easy for these cia guys to manipulate the numb dumb prozac generation. just look at the audience james holmes of aurora looks like he has had a chemical lobotomy. the movie trailer more important than the movie. good trailers = big receipts. new star trek silence of the lambs in space and on earth with guns and bangs and a bit of nolan darkness. nolan darkness is the new 3d : ) movie propaganda from guvmint psychopaths to sheeple. but the fact is it is all about manipulation. all about a hidden message and agenda. the cia destroys countries for real. hollywood in cgi. long ago the french called it mise en scene but it boring cos dares no big nuclear bangs no spock or kirk just borin init. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIeAzrdKJno -

quote A small sliver though, wants him to someday burst out of this gilded cage (or is it a fortress?) can one seek out a life find a soul in a can of pepsi? fact pepsi contains precursor flavours taken from aborted babies. yes folks we have arrived at the corporate position title. soylent green is people. seems like a nice guy perfect front man for the hollywood military idustrial complex slaughter house he is the new ron howard a cola lite version of nolan. this so called messiah is just a big budget jobbing hack. maybe a talent compared to michael suck satans cock bay. jj perfect for the mk ultra zombie generation. a director no a marketing green screen wank job yes. cia asset and script editor sure. i would not be surprised if he was genetically sliced and modified like dolly the sheep. friends with speeeel berg and ron how howard perfect. -

whatdayawanna no is the dealer a wanker yes. does he give a shit no will he sell it yes is it worth it in this case no why is he a wanker well like all dealers he cannot be arsed to test. he cannot be bothered to get a camera guy to check it why well he has seen that most stuff sells it does not matter if it is good or bad. it will sell. even people on here have admitted to buying broken iscorama and a year later are looking for advice. nothing really outrageous about the price you see if they did test it and it had flaws they would then have to mention it or lie. ignorance is bliss and profitable. sorry for the bad speiling eye is dislaxic iscorama is a waiting game if you want to buy bid in an auction or wait for a sale from a shooter. or spend less money and get the only other magic optic worth a mention moller 1.5x -

over inflated is that inflated as in bubble. this is not some south sea bubble not some tulip o mania no big bang. show me a pro anamorphic as good as an iscorama or better tell me the price. iscorama is cheap optically under priced it is not about the price but the precious value. how many folks have shelled out silly money for china junk optics with 0.95 f stop. poor copies of leica noct china has little value now or in 30 years. the stuff may work but has little soul that is the modern way we live in satanic times a new dark age. iscorama is from a time a great expansive period 1900-1950s the period when great optical men tried to best each other in design. out do and out wit in light ray trace. sub standard is the norm today . input tapped into computer cheap aspherical optic added a new lens for the hd world. clowns knocking out variations on a theme or just blatant copies average at best. iscorama inflated no way. a good price for those who can make it work. the bolex moller 1.5x is treasure for me has a better look than the iscorama another optical marvel under priced. we all want a bargain all could do with a free lunch forever. all would like a mercedes for the price of a shit ford. we want the best for next to nothing now godamit and how dare we not be given it. what is the problem. we know the cost but not the value. the same chap shot this which i like https://vimeo.com/37044086 -

look at the size of it look at the 9v batt for scale. if you like 5kg optics go for it the seller as the english say is a wanker never tests just writes words.. apart from that if you have arnie swarcheyeneggar arms go for it. focus will be iffy as well not designed for constant focus use. -
hello chaps. i have a new one never opened and a used one in great condition. deal is for one only i need someone in the usa for a trade deal. i need to buy something it means you save big as paying in dollars is better than paying in sterling. usual price is 220-270 sterling so a big saving YOU MUST PM ME first reply from usa based person can have priority. i am away at the moment so signal to collect messages is iffy. cheers

warning on the c mount iscorama. check out the last picture. impact separation or as they once called it lamination. cemented doublet coming apart that will get worse over time anyone saying that the front doublet coming apart has 0 bearing on film image is an idiot or an opportunist. anyone buying should not pay silly money for it it aint perfect innit iss en nit it not broke but it not super. also looks like a crack in the plastic body near orientation button. listen eye is not dissin it man it is rare and stuff.. just sayin if ya donte like wat eye says donte reed it in it. -
