I've had the same noise problem with the EM5 ii using Sennheiser wireless mics. I removed the hiss/hum in Adobe audition! Check out tutorials on taken a noise print/ sample in a quiet area (no dialogue), and then removing that noise through out video. This works well. Rob

A & C look good overall to me. I didn't realise the results were posted before I sent this, so just edited my post!

Zhongyi Lens Turbo Canon EF MFT - adapting and adapter onto an adapter
RobD replied to Michal Gajdoš's topic in Cameras
I don't believe you can have 2 adaptors working together. Minolta MD lenses are my favourite with a zhongy turbo speedbooster. -
I have a few Minolta MD lenses and Zhongyi Lens Turbo Adapter II (Minolta MD - MFT). Work well for me.

I've had to remove the hiss in Adobe Audition.

I don't fully understand what you are doing with the sequence settings but scaling to 200% is wrong! Don't scale above 100%. Rob

Many years ago I used a Plugin "Scopo Gigio" that was available for Photoshop and After effects. This would be ideal if you could still get it. Cheers, Rob

Hi, I use a HighPoint RocketStor 5212 Dual Bay Thunderbolt Storage Dock on my iMac for editing. I'm only editing HD footage and it works well with 2x 2TB drives. It also takes SSDrives so it might be OK for 4K footage!

GX80 settings - cannot access "picture size" or "quality"
RobD replied to luminescence's topic in Cameras
The 4k button is the way to activate or deactivate 4k burst. -
Not sure what codec you are rendering to but video and audio combined will take much longer than audio only files. Why not queue them up and let Adobe Media encoder spit them all out overnight. Cheers, Rob

I'll try my other lenses and see what happens. But the 50mm with adaptor , the camera asks is this a 35mm lens - yes no?
-
Thanks Justin! So the camera suggested the correct focal length. 50mm = 35mm.

Hi all, a bit of advice please! I have just received my GX85 and a Zhongy lens turbo ii. I have the MD - M43 version which I want to use with a few MD Rokkor lenses. 28mm 2.8, 50mm 1.4 and 135mm 2.8. When attaching the 50mm the camera suggests 35mm focal length, is that correct? And what would my other lenses be with the adaptor? Thanks all.

Zoom H4n with lapel mics works well. I have one wireless mic and one wired mic for recording interviews. -
Yes definitely shutter speed. Should be 50th @ 25fps PAL (50hz power), or 60th @ 30fps NTSC (60hz power).
-
I think South Korea is NTSC so I assume 30/ 24 not 25.

63.7 megapixel raw with the E-M5 II - and finally 24p at 77Mbit!
RobD replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
So NO 25p on the E-M5II or E-M1 firmware update? Why can't Olympus just do that at least? -
Yes I'm hoping the E-M1 gets the video updates too!
-
The rumour originally said video would be "all common frame rates". So hopefully 25/50p also. Not long to wait now.

Hi, Has anyone tried to use the cheap U-FlyCam stabiliser with a GH2? If so how did you balance the camera? Cheers, Rob
