Because the WB\actual colour\actual brilliance\ISO noise can not be see on a ovf,you have to rely on the LCD. Without LCD, a DSLR is useless~But if only using the lcd ,you can still take pics,that is the difference,that is why film cameras were dead What you seeing is what you get,that is why digtal images are popular.That is why I believe the mirriorless is the future,DSLR is really dying,just a matter of time~

Yeah,they don't need OVF too,why bother to use a haevy DSLR? Actually nowaday people like taking pics by using a cellphone becasue it is easy to use and measure exposure DSLRs require users know how to measure exposure through a OVF ,which requires skills and may fails sometimes,so I wonder how long DSLRs can last when people get use to taking pics by looking a lcd instead of a OVF

How can you draw this conclusion without any tests? Actually I saw some Sony A6300 vs Canon 80D videos,A6300 do works better,not quite useful without a touch LCD,but hey A5300 is coming ,with a touch screen and much cheaper~ BTW，AF is not something new ,unlike the 4K \super sampling\ five axis IS Think about it, if you day back to 2008,will you choose a 5D2(which don't do video AF at all) over a sony EX2(which works fairly ok)? I remebered some people said 5D2 was useless without AF,but it beats everything by IQ~ So...are we really talk about AF again? As far as I know, image quality is everything ,at least this is what histroy had proved.

Well , A6300 just tested by Dpreview, and proved to be the highest resolution 4k camera of all time,way sharper than GH4~ And it is just a little consumer camera under $1000. http://***URL removed***/reviews/sony-a6300/5 Do u still go on talk about 80D? I even bet the 5D4 won't beat the A6300

The Dual pixel AF on the 80D is way slower than the 4D focus on the A6300,not to mention DPAF only cover 80% of the frame,WHY????

Mjpeg is way too OLD！Imagine to use it in the next fellowing 4-5 years ，that is insane！ confirmed specs： 4K is about 26.9×14.2mm crop， 1.3X to FF，but shoot 4K DCI standard，120P only can last 7min（BTW,even a 64GB CF card can only shoot 10min 120P ），and corp or no crop is still unknow！ No C-Log for sure！ No focus peaking neither！

I used official data from the manufacturers‘ wedsite，all tested in the same standard （CIPA），so I think it is more convincing than personal test ，but you know， I just compare how long they shooting video ，not shooting stills Actually ,if you carry 6 battaries with a A7SII,it is still weight less than a 5D3 with one battary,and I am not kidding

I think most “better colour science” is depend on personal preferences ，which some people see unnatural as natural

Do A7S battery life battery really the worst？ Battery（1000mah）on A7SII works for about 1 hour，battery（1800mah） on 5D3 works for about 1 hour 30min（slightly worse than the A7SII），why not seeing guys complainting about 5D3 short battery life and do 5D3 users have to carry 100 battery for all day work？ Obviously not BTW，A7SII do support USB power supply ，you can just carry a Mobile Power Bank instead

A7RII and A7SII do improve skin tones ，looks like canon is losing its advantage on color science~ If not telling people which camera is which，it is barely recognize their difference

Yeah，don't know why canon users complainting about no 4K or supersampling 5DIII（5DII as well ）without supersamp、4K、even FHD 60P，but still fit industry standard for 7 years with line-skipping IQ ，so it may still holding up for the next 10 years or more，long live 5D！lol

Do you get any image to prove what you said？ At least，jcs tested C300M2 and said 120p is clearly lower resolution being a center crop without the benefit of supersampling (which also helps reduce noise and aliasing). 120p on the A7S II looks better. In fact A7RII and A7SII are so much cheaper as they are 8BIT enterlevel 4K camera，so C300M2 real competitors are FS7 and ursa 4.6K ect. BTW，how about 2K 240P raw whitout crop on the FS700 + Odyssey 7Q？ Blow it out of the water
