A 2.2X crop of the FF sensor is nothing compare to a 2X crop of S35，as the aspect ratio change to about the view of 1 inch，and cinematographers may have to change the len or the camera position，considering a cheaper FS7 can do 180P without any crop Canon tech is way behind sony~

IMHO DSLR has about 40% mechanical components won't be used for shooting videos,including mirror ，OVF，top screen，PDAF unit （the one nearby mirror）and light metering sensor They are totally a waste of money if you don't need they for still work what is worse ，you geting inaccurate light metering while LV because the light metering sensor is blocked by mirror And because the DSLRs are designed to use PDAF unit（not dual pixel AF）for still work，developing video/LV AF（ dual pixel AF is included） means abandon PDAF unit （If dual pixel AF is useful than PDAF unit ，who still need it？） The hope of DSLRs being a better video cam kills DSLRs itself！ Funny thing is，without those useless components，mirrorless cameras （like the A7X and GHX）can be much cheaper than DSLRs ，so DSLRs can never win by lower price Just let it go！Pleaseeeee！

WHY 120p on the C300M2 is not supersampled and with a crop ？ Sensor problem？ Considering a much cheaper A7SII can do better job，even FS7 can do 180P SM without a crop，what a pain in the ass How is the AF perfrom when the len is zooming？

Just check the news,the A7RII and the a7sII do have 14 bit uncompressed raw right now BTW,why adapted len will kill sharpness? Light doesn't suffer loss when passing through the adaptor ，moreover the A7RII and the a7sII has IBIS

Lens like 50 F1.8 II、 85 F1.8、24-85 show terrible mechanical sound，even some USM lens not working silently，I think that is why canon developed STM

The only selling point of C300M2 is that 15 stops of DR which I think it never will be upgraded on the C100M3 unless C300M3 comes out first~ And PDAF？Seriously？What filmmaker cares about AF ?Moreover the PDAF only works on EF DSLR lens C100 series should be abandoned，replacing it with something hot~Like FF mirrorless camera maybe~（a rumor said canon is studying on it）

Canon C100M2 only provide u 12 stops of DR ，and the 5DS only shoot 7 stops DR 30P 1080 without LOG and pixel-banning，but it priced $3700 ~ Nikon D810 without LOG，only gives u 9 stops of DR！

Does they also think DSLR-videographers are NOT ready for 4K\LOG，even pixel binning instead of line-skipping？ Is that the reason why Canon not giving their users all those features？ I will suggest they learn from Apple，think differently！
