Wow. That's pretty damning. How could someone hack into his Facebook, EOSHD acct, and have a fake ID to pick up money at Western Union. PLUS have access to the gear that he was known to have. If you're logging into your Facebook, or forums frequently (which it looks like he does), you're going to see messages from 6 people inquiring about transactions. This was over a substantial amount of time too.

I've got one more question. The screen shot from Facebook of supposed Ebrahim Saadawi taunting that he scammed, could the OP confirm that the account is the same one that we see as Ebrahim Junior? Or was it a burner Facebook page with not much info? Someone with Facebook ask him what he knows about all of this. I don't have Facebook or I would.

Wasn't there an impression that he was a beta tester/early adopter/reviewer?

I do feel bad for posting the Instagram picture. I was trying to show that he's a real person but it's in poor taste. Mods, could you delete that post?

I just figured a picture of him with an older gentlemen and the hashtag Grandfather, with 27 likes, is most likely him. Who knows though. If it's an elaborate scheme it's a well thought out plan.

You might be right, but the thing that actually made me raise an eyebrow was the fact that a forum user here showed that Jr. stole his footage and used it as his own portfolio piece. I mean that's not awful but it does point to some dishonesty.

Yeah now that I think about it, reliability is priceless when you're using it for big jobs. I don't know if I'd take the risk knowing that is was drenched in water.

I agree. I owned it for about a year as well and loved the DPAF. Just couldn't ever get a rich image out of it. Not saying it's impossible b/c I've seen some great looking stuff from it, but for the price, i dont know...

True. I've always wondered why companies don't do both though. Red and Blackmagic cater to the film community and do pretty well.

It looks like only the guy's white shirt and the vendor roof are clipping which is fine. You can still make out shadows and detail in his shirt.

I have a question regarding diopters for the Slr Magic Anamorphot 2x. I noticed that the 1.33 includes 2 diopters but the 2x does not. I can't find any examples with the 2x using diopters. Are they necessary for semi close up? I'm shooting with it in a couple of weeks and want to make sure I have all options covered. Thanks.
