  1. Nice. Where'd you pick up V LOG? Beta tester?
  2. I'm talking about stills/video cameras that are legendary in popularity.
  3. Where do you get the Vlog to V709 LUT? I think it actually looks more natural that the Alexa LUT. EDIT: Nevermind I found it on Panasonic's site.
  4. Considering that it's lowlight , not too bad. Nothing that a little Neat Video can't clean up.
  5. True BMPCC doesn't shoot stills so I guess it doesn't count in that category. I'm not talking about quality either, just well known and common. 4 years ago you'd always hear about 5DII, T2i, 7D for video. Of course in today's standards the internal recording is not that great compared to the newest cameras, but they were still legendary.
  6. GH4 now is in my opinion a legendary hybrid camera. 5D Mark II, 7D, GH2, possibly BMPCC. A few may be moving up the ranks like A7S and 1DC. What else?
  7. you could probably get away with no VC on the URSA bc its so heavy. Even on the C100 its usuable handheld without IS or VC.
  8. Pretty cool. I'd like to see some more primes with VC.
  9. When will Atomos make a 4k Ninja Star?
  10. I used Paypal. Maybe they just use that email address. I didn't get a confirmation though.
  11. Pre ordered from Panasonic USA but I feel like it was a scam b/c they didn't even ask for my email address. First time that's ever happened.
  12. Yeah but buying an entirely new camera for a profile? If they improve the camera in other areas I'd be fine with that.
  13. Paid firmware I'm fine with. Seriously ticked if it's an entirely new body.
  14. No problem. The rainbow ring to me looks very similar to the VC Optical Flares element although I'm sure there's a anamorphic out there that it is based off of. From what I understand it was completely designed based on real lenses.
  15. Either one. A high quality JPEG will work.
  16. Definitely a Coen Brothers type look.
  17. I have not tried it. I have heard it is very well made though.
  18. If you don't want to shoot anamorphic I'm always available to do post flare work. I've done it on a couple of music videos. Real is always better, but in case you're in a pinch.
  19. That's unfortunate about the internal battery. The external battery that shipped with the 7000 was terrible. It was ruined within 2 days. I have 2 bigger batteries that I swap out now.
  20. I think if you're doing mostly handheld work to stick with the 12-35. If you use a tripod most of the time and/or a shoulder rig then the Sigma will be a good choice, although you won't be able to go as wide on the GH4 with 18mm, even with a speedbooster.
