  1. I shot the blue half of this video with that combo. It's my favorite combo.
  2. Shooting LOG with the BMCC has been so much easier after I bought a DP7 monitor that supports LUTS. Being able to see scopes and exposure of the frame with a LUT added has been a lifesaver.
  3. I'm tempted to pick up a GoPro. Tom Majerski did a comparison to the BMCC after using a "de-fisheye" plugin with a LUT. Looks pretty good.
  4. The motion cadence on blackmagic cameras is superb.
  5. Nice. Does anyone know what the difference in Gamma Log and CineD flat could be, other than saturation?
  6. You can also add a LUT to an adjustment layer and bring down the opacity to the desired strength.
  7. Cinema DNG files are now playable/editable inside Premiere. Haven't figured out how to open Adobe Raw Editor yet in Premiere though.
  8. The Mask Tracking feature is huge. It's always added an extra step to have to link together with After Effects.
  9. If it's ungraded I'm guessing the BMPCC is the second one.
  10. I downloaded these LUTs and they're not nearly as impressive as Film Convert's customization. The Osiris LUTs are cool b/c they're stylized.
  11. I have an i7-4770k with a GTX760, 32gb RAM. It works flawlessly with Premiere and GH4 footage.
  12. I'd just go with the 12-35 and call it a day. It's an awesome lens.
  13. It is from Jacob Neilsens test here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9mt8hkrfk6hepj0/GH4%20UHD-Ninja%20Blade%2010bit%20test%20footage.mov
  14. Very nice. Added an Osiris LUT with no other changes. Looks great!
  15. They make versions on ebay that have pretty good reviews for around $130. Word is that Metabones will release their version very soon. Honestly, if I were you and you end up going with the BMCC, I would get the MFT version. You gain alot by having a speedbooster in front of that crop factor.
  16. You will have more of a crop with EF glass on the BMCC than speedboosted EF glass on the Pocket. But as of right now, no IS. No need for SSDs if you're shooting short clips. BMPCC has swappable batteries. Resolve Lite is free. Unless you're rendering 3D or 4k you won't notice a difference.
  17. If you're only shooting 10-30 second clips I'd go for the Pocket cam. Get an EF to MFT focal reducer for your Canon glass.
  18. This movie looked like another POS summer blockbuster after seeing the trailer. Once I saw 93% on rotten tomatoes it got me interested. It ended up being one of the best movies Ive seen this year.
  19. Is it a metabones speedbooster or a chinese focal reducer?
