Wow. You're a star. I wonder if Andrew woupd be so kind, as to award you the star of the day for today. ?

Wow. I am curious though, why is it at 3840 x 2160 instead of 4096 x 2160? Nice image, and how did you get this one.

Yes, true. One of the things that Sony said about the A7iii was that the new processing greatly improved heat dissipation (and I think they also said something about it affecting battery life).

I wonder if any DSLR or Mirrorless has a 5inch screen? Why I am asking this, is because I am wondering if it would have been possible to have a Hinge on a 5inch screen with a non-metallic body (carbon composite), and also have a fully articulated screen that doesn't crash into all the wire when being rotated. They could have tried something on the lines of what Sony or the Panasonic GX85 has with a flip out to the front. But, like I mentioned, it was probably due to the unweildly size of that 5inch display and the fact that the body is Composite and Not Metal. This is probably the time for someone like Atomos to probably either make a Portable screen with very low lag, fed via the HDMI or USB-C. Or have a Screen with a Swivel Design or Articulated Stand, that allows it to twist 360 degrees.

There is no information on brightness and some customers on B&H have mentioned issues of overheating. Price is good and the idea seems great. Maybe the implements needs a little working on.

Hahaha. People are always complaining about too much dynamic range ??
-
It has 4 flavours of DNG (including flavours of compressed RAW). I am comparing RAW with H.264. I am guessing that while many flavours of ProRes may require less processing power due to compressing at real time, in comparison to RAW, it may be different.

Upto 100fps HD is non-windowed. Also, he (the guy in the video below) hints at a few other things being added by way of firmware. Which effectively means that we should wait until all the features are stated. This also shoots HLG (I read or heard somewhere), for anyone interested in lower dynamic range with lower bitrates. Btw, why do I feel that this is a 4096 x 2160 sensor (and Not 10+megapixel sensor). That's like 8.8MP compared to 10.something mega pixels on the GH5s. I hope someone makes a large battery accessory for this that is like a battery pack at the bottom (like on DSLRs), and which powers it via USB-C or the locking socket to add another 2-3 hours of juice. And also adds a flat SSD like on the new Atomos recorder.

Unfortunately I am out of likes for today. But, yes, the AD Agency doing the work, obviously mistook it for a smartphone or GoPro, and planned the campaign for VLogging and action sports among other things. They probably wanted to position this as a camera for everyone. Btw I still didn't figure out why there is money flying around that biker in that scene with the camera.

There is a certain charm in a small company shaking up the market. And Blackamagic seems to have done just that. I hope the big boys are forced to shave off atleast a few hundred dollars off their prices.

I have to point out a few things: 1. A 5inch Screen is 2.5 Times the real estate of a 3inch screen. It will, therefore consume a lot more battery. 2. RAW requires a lot more processing power (I am guessing as does higher bitrate ProRes). For lower bitrates H.264 and other compressed codecs may require more processing power. 3. On the Blackmagic there is a power saving mode where the camera switches off when not in use. I guess if Blackmagic is able to use this feature well, then like Panasonic, it should be able to pull off a little juice out of it's LP-6 battery (to switch off the screen when it is not recording). You forgot to mention that the BPCC 4k has aa fan. What did you feel about that one. Was it audible?

ISO 400 and ISO3200

Actually wait a little more. Atmos is opening up the back for collaborations, which I am guessing may include wireless options, SDI via some extras (perhaps?), and other ways of adding to this. I think they should have articulated that a little better, perhaps?

Yes. Everything is here: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/in/products/blackmagicpocketcinemacamera/techspecs/W-CIN-12

It does 4k 60p. Has a less than 2x crop, and does 12bit RAW.
-
Oh ok. Hmmm ... My bad.
-
It seems to have 3 Custon Buttoms in the Top Right part of the camera. Marked as '●' '●●' '●●●', with 'Functions' written immediately above that.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Not that this will win some beauty awards, but it is nowhere as ugly as the initial renders. If you watch the pics on the Blackmagic site, it actually looks pretty nice. Must be the make-up and lighting.
-
This one is super bright too @ 1000 nits. With an HDR screen for all that HDR shooting and multiple recording options (flavours of ProRes and RAW).

My comment was deleted/ didn't post. Yes, usb-c charging and power cable being included is excellent. I will include it in the list. Thanks

Plus the Entire Blackmagic Suite. Plus Mini XLR. And the 5inch screen. Plus 2 sound input options and 3 recording options. For the buck, nothing really comes close. Not even the Original Pocket Camera.

I am out of likes too. But it's True. Pros: 1. 4k in Multiple Flavours and bitrates. 2. Excellent sized screen to body ratio. 3. Great lowlight. I will bet this has better low light than the GH5s. 4. Nice ergonomics. I saw many pics and the new design is pretty good. 5. Much improved battery life. 6. 3 custom buttons? 7. Multiple storage and recording options. 8. I am guessing the screen has been improved substantially as well. 9. The Entire Blackmagic Suite thrown in (which itself should cost a fortune). 10. If it is the GH5s sensor, it does 14-bit RAW. Though not sure BlackMagic would push it that far. 11. It is Priced at $1299. That is 1/2th the price of the Panasonic GH5s. 12. Much lighter than most cameras its size. 13. Doesn't over heat like a lot of Sony cameras. 14. Mini XLR. 15. Full sized HDMI that a certain Mr. Reid has suggested to Panasonic too and they listened. 15. A Bluetooth remote operation function. Not sure what all controls will be included. It may be a replacement for an articulated screen, especially for shooting yourself. 16. You also get a locking DC power connector so it can’t be accidentally disconnected in the middle of a shoot. The included 110 - 220 volt plug pack can be used to simultaneously power the camera and charge the LP-E6 battery. Plus, it includes international socket adapters so it can be used anywhere in the world! The USB-C Expansion Port accepts power so you can charge the battery from portable battery packs, a mobile phone charger or even your laptop computer! The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K gives you a wide range of flexible power options so you can shoot all day. 17. Theoritically it can record without time limit. Both recording can be done to external memory and it can be powered externally via USB.

Already? Or you're just joking? Hahaha. You're making fun of me.
