1. Ok, I jumped the gun. Just saw the full video. Wow !!! I guess, this may be used for some special video projects. With the right kind of ND Filters (in-built, preferably), this could bring Canon back into the race. It will also help get rid of a lot of unnecessary and heavy duty lighting equipment, I guess.
2.   I agree. The video, they showcase, should clearly outline the noticeable advantage, in low light, over its current breed of cameras. Maybe, with the right kind of parabolic mirrors, any good full HD Camera can do that. Maybe, they should have made a comparison, with the Mark iii, under similar lighting and with silhouettes , instead.   Or, maybe, the stars were captured, because it IS a sensor, and, camera, meant, Only for the scientific community.    I don't understand the purpose of creating a Hype about it, then. What a waste of PR time and money.
3. Harding (may I call you y that name?), I think, it would be a gr8 idea, if there were Simpler accessories for the GoPro Hero Black Edition.   They could push up the lens, from its present f2.8. They could sell f2, f1.4, and f1.0 (or f.95)  lenses separately. If some accessory maker, could find a way to install a faster lens, easily, for each kind of shoot, that would be gr8. That could help, with the Night, Indoors, as well as the High Speed Shots.   Also, I may be wrong, but, I am guessing, that, the Auto Exposure, could be disabled, through a Magic Lantern kind of hack, instead of installing a CPU, for that.   What do you think?
4.   See, I feel, the idea would be gr8, if they could keep the prices down, and availability wasn't an issue.          Dude, $4000??? How do you plan to fund anything, out of that. I am guessing, even the spare will cost more than $4000.
5. Wow. Now we have GoPro Cameras, at the rental prices of C300s and C500s, or maybe even REDs. Also, I am guessing, there is a noticeable increase in size, and ease of use. Isn't this defeating the very purpose of the GoPro. Namely, the advantage of the form factor, and the price?

NEW Test film

Quite interesting. Though the special effects at 22-27 and 36-38 looked a little disappointing. Maybe, if you shot real rain, on the window, it would have looked, more authentic. or used water, through a hose, and backlit it. Just a suggestion. Nice work.
7. This has given me a killer idea, for shooting a short, Alone. Starring Only myself. It sounds crazy, but, I have some really nice ideas. Brandon, how long did u take, to shoot this video?
8. Were you the only person there? How did u shoot the portions, in the car? Also, did you set up the camera, in a tripod each time u ran away from it, or you separated the still, from the handheld, footage, and shot, one, after the other?   Either ways, if you have done it alone, then, WOW !!!   Damn neat. And, really good editing, too. It created a great effect, for the movement bits.
9. DP Review just posted a review, where they mentioned, that Metabones, themselves, has mentioned, that their autofocus is rather lousy. Considering this, I feel, maybe, Metabones should get rid of the electronic contact points on the adaptor, and shave off a few hundred dollars ($100s) off the price, and then, let this product his the shelves.   What do you think?
10. Andrew, I am guessing, you meant the AF100, instead of the FS100. Please correct me, if I am wrong.
11. Pretty Neat. You, I've wondered, why people who light at night, do not use reflectors (Thermacol), to try and improve the areas, which need to be lit. They could install thermacol, on the ceilings, and below faces, candles, LEDs, and other super portable light sources suddenly lighten the scene up.
12. Has anyone tried the perpetual zoom effect, in video, for shoots? Could you tell me the best way, to go about, with it. I want as much detail, as possible, while zooming.   Thanks
13.  hmmm ... ok. Interesting.         Ok. And, what about other faster lenses. Anything in the f.95 range which can be brightened further? A Y, I am looking forward to a test, too, which pushes it beyond the f.90 threshold too. hmmm ...
14. Andrew, I was going to ask this, in your discussion, related to your write-up [Prototype Metabones Speed Booster equipped NEX 7 *VS* full frame (5D Mark III)].   This adds 1 stop of light, to, every adaptable lens, right? To EVERY possible lens, that, it is made for? So, lets say, an SLR Magic T.95 lens would also add another stop of light (assuming, there is an adapter made for it)? So, it would turn into an T.67 lens?   If that's true, then I don't wanna know how Stanley Kubrik's soul would feel about this. Especially after his long work on the f.7 lens, for barry lyndon ...  :P
15. I am wondering, how many people, on this forum are from India, and specifically, from Mumbai. I feel like the only  specimen, of my species, here ...  :P   I asked, cause, we could exchange information on dealers, lighting, equipment etc etc, and maybe, even discuss films and media, over a cup of coffee, or something.
16. I wish Panasonic would have one like this, for the GH2, as well. It would be lovely, to be able to control it, through an external wire, on your Tablet. Or maybe, they could just add a wireless remote. hmmmm ....           https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.panasonic.lumix_link.activity&hl=en       https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/panasonic-lumix-link/id456228089?mt=8https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/panasonic-lumix-link/id456228089?mt=8
17. Its not a review, he's merely reading out from the manual.   Thought, I like the fact, that, they have made a short, out of it. Interesting concept (I saw it, in an AD for plywood, before) .

Wi-fi SD Cards

Thanks for the reply, Nigel. I asked, cause I had read a few unflattering reports about wi-fi Data Cards. hmmm ...

Wi-fi SD Cards

Has anyone used a wi-fi SD card? What brand? How was the experience, and how good was the file transfer speed? Also, were there any features, apart from the file transfer, available?
20.   Heyyyy !!! Congrats. Please, ONLY shoot at 2.7k. And, then down-res it to 1080. Also, I would love to see the 4k on the GoPro. Gimmick or no gimmick.
21. I found this, and thought, that, it would make a killer companion, for the GoPro 3 Hero Black Edition. And, the price seems decent too, at $679. It does have some interesting features, as well (Failsafe & auto go home/landing, 10-15 mins of flight time, low voltage protection/ auto landing on low battery, 300 metre remote response distance etc). It apparently has Free Global Shipping too (this sounds suspicious ... hmmmm)         https://dslrpros.com/Products/tabid/94/CategoryID/58/List/0/catpageindex/2/Level/a/ProductID/68/language/en-US/Default.aspx
22. The one, I mentioned, is FAR better than Light Panels costing almost Twice as much, is much lighter, brighter, and is perfect for various kinds of mounting.   Also, I am assuming, that there are quite a few battery options. If the NP-F970 Sony battery, is compatible with it, you could get 12 hrs of battery life. There are cheaper battery options too (NP-F550, which retails for $19).    Trust me, you won't have to bother with other brands. This one is Really bright.
23.             This is 1 of the best lights I've seen. For the price, the size, the output, and the fact, that it can be both camera mounted (ring light, around the lens), as well as used otherwise. Also, its extremely bright. And, for $199, its a Steal.    http://www.fvlighting.com/store/lighting/led/r300.html?acc=c81e728d9d4c2f636f067f89cc14862c     And, yes, its Very Dimmable (almost down to glow-worm/ firefly brightness)   :P
