Gear used in video is as follows:   GH2 with Nikkor 50mm 1.4 - Redstan clamp and Kowa for Bell & Howell 2x  anamorphic adapter. Standard picture profile with everything turned down except for saturation.   GH3 with Helios 58mm 2.0 and Cinemorph filter from vid-atlantic.com. Standard picture profile with everything turned down except for saturation.     Different ND-filters used   Slider , friction based DIY iFootage Mini Crane M1II   Editing and grading in Premiere Pro.

I don't think the ML L3 works in "electronic shutter" mode as you will have to use to shoot in raw 30 fps for your second, however I've never had any trouble obtaining perfectly good shots pressing the shutter button manually on my V1. At least not with the kit-lens that has some sort of VR (vibration reduction built in).

Shot with the GH2 and Driftwoods Sedna q20a patch. I chose the wide 3:55 ratio as it felt most filmic to me. Used a Nikon 50mm 1:1.4 and the Kowa for Bell & Howell 2x anamorphic adapter. Some work done in post. http://vimeo.com/41437622
