Speaking of devil, where's RED this NAB'19? From reduser, I can't find the fuss of other editions... Too silent the ambient there, to say the least. http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?175526-quot-Unofficial-Official-quot-Red-at-NAB19-Events

Indeed. Let's be fair. Apples to oranges. Price-wise included.

This brand is what RED promised to be (E : -)

A couple of days to follow Adobe's announcement. Exciting times we live today! : -)

Rhetorical question there. Just a slight form of sarcasm : -)

NAB 2019 predictions and major talking points - BMPCC 4K Pro anyone?!
Emanuel replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
Women with internal brains are a fuck. Trouble to put them out. LOL : -) -
Sure, it is : ) No reason for sarcasms there or on your talent: plain evident as matter of fact, not exactly opinion territory. One thing is tech discussion for geeks or suchlike, other one is about art. Only two modes available: you address your compliment or better to keep silent : D

Beautiful, Glenn! Your skills are visibly above any online forum (E : -)

5-axis IBIS there would be terrific indeed : ) A killer combo for the segment : -) -
NAB 2019 predictions and major talking points - BMPCC 4K Pro anyone?!

Big enough to consume power but also for more than that. Focus assist is a breeze where AF can even be missed. I speak by myself. A bit obsessive with focus accuracy, AF included. And also where a simple accessory designed for a kind of trouble effectively much wider than strictly to P4K can easily address the issue pointing a capable workaround as happens with the usage of many other 5" LCDs actually. I'd rather have such one than tiny unusable much smaller screens improperly for cinematic evaluation in a good part of shooting circumstances. Without fresh framing/composition and competent focus operation -- well beyond to have some auto mode operating that on our behalf for sure, no innovative photography nor wider gamut/DR will help you out there, count on it : -) -
NAB 2019 predictions and major talking points - BMPCC 4K Pro anyone?!

Again: have you ever used this camera for more than once in anything longer of a trivial hands-on without prejudice of any kind? Such great generous monitor unique of a kind has a clever angle design where low shots are much beyond you could expect from the lack of a dedicated articulating screen. -
Didn't need it yet. AFAIK the usual one available for.

Both of you are right. Battery issue is used to be overstated by a few detractors non-users anyway : ) For a simple reason: people have too little to blame this top capture device of nowadays : -) -
NAB 2019 predictions and major talking points - BMPCC 4K Pro anyone?!
Emanuel replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
Not really. There are also power solutions out there beyond extra units from your shooting vest or pocket for extending your shot if so. And no tilt screen is not much of a problem (have you ever used one for a long time BTW?) in any way other than as vlogging or external monitoring. If this is effectively necessary as long as rig it, really, not strictly mandatory at all, mere FUD of non-users mantra or from a tiny minority : ) Nothing against tilt screens I've always become used as Panasonic shooter but to take it as a deal breaker is a nonsense and pure BS to this user here : -) -
On the lack of locking connection, that picture made a good laugh a year ago: What about now? The most funny is I have used it holding the media exactly in the palm of my hand for casual shooting with 100% success. So far so good... : P Happy shooting mates from your PRO standardsssssssss! Yellow would be too boring without other colors around ; -)

Loved the 2nd part of your post! : ) Looks to me definitely a no-brainer : -) Back to a decade ago when 5D2 popped up, people were used to call the VDSLRs a non-professional solution route as well, look where we are today ; -) Speaking of devil even though a bit OT now, watched yesterday night on a fake 4K : D TK800 projector from a 1080p source though, Shane Hurlbut DoPed this piece in Italy shot on some other tool (2018 RED aka Weapon) also for amateurs (once) written by the keyboard of some other online forum posters outside: Ah last but not least, to those complaining for half power life, the little money of the investment lets you buy twice for double-decker your daily battery and as ultimate backup ; ) as Rode's man says in the end of that video up there, happy shooting! : -P

There's always a reasoning. For some reason it is confusing. Price range policy addressed to different markets, much hard to trace from a simple search engine.

Buddy, I see you've lost the whole point of their comments though. Nothing related to footage. The way people live inside their tiny screens instead. Lack of multiple perspective(s) to mention only a part of the equation, that's their major concern I entirely subscribe, that's the most I can add actually.

Savoir fair. Know-how. There's no free soup, fellas ; -)

Yeah, yeah... sorry to joke a bit ; ) what firmware version? LOL : -)
-
Really? I only find any slight differences if any. To me braw has been a disappointment for a simple reason... because of CinemaDNG's IQ standard. The fact we have one or another doesn't help either.
