  1. Fun comparison? I concur. Not about to exclude that terrific tool, on the contrary (I think you're going much biased on here man, a pity : ) I like this guy (I guess he fairly : D knows it : )) Not the point though. I'd just rather have accuracy to avoid misleading perceptions right there. That's it : -)
  2. Your in your own, mate. You're deadly wrong there, sorry to have to tell you. The title says it all: "Big Camera Shootout 2018". Apart to not take it literally, let's be fair here ; ) color comes in your mind. A camera comparison is beyond personal takes, my good fellow of boards : ) Most of you here can be wrong here and still think this should be a democracy... LOL : -)
  3. Mattias, fairness is a príncipe for accuracy to happen. We're not speaking about artistic 'moods' here, are we? ; -)
  4. LOL So you"d have a comparison between sensor sizes, not about cameras... ; -)
  5. So we can overboost the smaller ones, isn'it? Aside the fact, the smaller sensor size down to MFT the more competitive glass you"ll find at your pocket ; -)
  6. But, they use different sensor sizes... : -)
  7. Glenn, give your tolerance a break : ) There's nothing wrong on constructive criticism. I only find that test is not the fairness itself ; ) It surely is a private test. I just think my observation is rather pertinent. That test sould also have its own thread BTW, not in this one here.
  8. Despite I appreciate your answer, you should use a faster lens for a fair comparison with MFT as for instance or will become misleading as happened so. Take a look on that FF sample there. Not a tragedy but you could remake it as you intend an accurate outcome. Sorry mate for this time (E : -)
  9. Indeed man @Andrew Reid, you da rock! Better yet than from still photographs... You know what? Your voice really sounds! What a voice, pal! : ) Tells a bit the fact this guy writing here now is also connected with the radio industry as well for more than 3 decades today? ; ) In a personal note, you also look like a dearest cousin of mine! Pretty familiar your persona, without mention to already read you for some good years. Nice to meet you : ) Dave is also going great but frankly, next time you will need two microphones... LOL Can't wait for the upcoming stuff to pop up from you Andrew but also from you two @DaveAltizer : -)
  10. Not user here. I guess ISO6400 without Neat Video or alike, though.
  11. @DBounce Thanks for your comparative : ) However, it is apples to oranges, isn't it? DOF doesn't match. You're using different sensor size camera units. You can't compare a chocolat pie with a lemon pie if you don't add the same quantity of sugar : )) Applied focal length is also crucial : -)
  12. On the spot. This camera brand has mojo... There's (regular) MFT and MFT by Blackmagic. Not the same camera format (better than calling it sensor/mount format ; -)
  13. LOL In fact : ) I guessed so. I also love 42.5mm f/1.7 on MFT. I know your love for that other f/1.2 ; -)
  14. 35mm equivalent or in such terms, of course. That is, focal length obviously doesn't change based on the sensor format, the FOV does. So, for the subject matter, take it as you're shooting FF ; ) My first cup of tea is 30-35mm. A bit wide, less than regular perspective, the way humans see the world, but already far enough from reality. More versatile than others IMO once you can use it for portrait but ready for street shooting as you wish. Being a widest my 3rd choice and a telephoto lens for fourth, preferentially a zoom because of several re-framing options I may have. Needless to say the 2nd place. Yours? The most focal lengths you use will dictate the product you output as much as the duration of your shots or the scale, your editing style. If you'd choose one sole prime lens, which one would it be?
  15. At minute 0:45, it is also there. But blurred by the 720p version on YT, much less. And not visible at minute 0.41/0:42 depending on the resolution you have, so... As usual, blur is the key when the acquisition device has no OLPF. GH5 also lacks OLPF, in any case here is an interesting comparison: source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGTKBnbyxgM
  16. LOL : ) I saw you've asked for the vimeo copy... Have you already checked it there?
  17. "Waiting for my MP2, to me allot of footage on YouTube looks unfocussed/ unsharp, not sure if this is focus issue or sharpness setting, but will try for myself with sharpness +1, can always use neatvideo to process the video assuming that my computer is doing a better job than the new MP2." Says Tiny video there on YT comments section. Really tiny indeed... I wonder what kind of certain people have learned about pictures along their own course of life. Pardon my intolerance but there should be rules to forbid some kind of minds to give to the world anything lensed by them... Pity.

Never used this lens but I surely will : -)
  19. True. I wouldn't buy a C200 with the price of half-dozen Pockets... LOL : -)
  20. Indeed. Look at the exposure or those skin tones... Gives an idea on the tool, though.
  21. Nicely put. I am a MFT fanboy too : -D without losing my sight of such lovely FF tools we have : -)
  22. That slide has made my future MOZA Air X preference to add next year but... ...early November availability on the Zhiyun part for the Weebill Lab lightweight as well; rather than the Crane 3 bigger brother. "Masterstroke", someone here said? Well, just made the list. 3kg is more than enough at mirrorless ballpark. https://www.zhiyun-tech.com/WEEBILLLAB This new gimbal generation is a whole new world. Surrendered to both sides and long life to this next techie evolution level just arrived.
  23. Indeed ; ) One of the reasons why GH1 got my attention from : -)
  24. Not the best shooter ever but gives a tip on the tool's offering:
