Nice evaluation by a professional colorist on reduser on those images posted here at first hand: http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?166868-NAB-2018-Blackmagic-Pocket-Cinema-Camera-4K&p=1797545&viewfull=1#post1797545

Sure, you can :-)
-
I even produced a feature made with one also coupled to an external recorder (Atomos) in the US a few years ago, released three years later. All that Jazz still and forever up for many years to come as well, so... ;-)
-
Right. Different strokes for different folks : ) No IBIS for GH5S either but I obviously got your point : ) I guess one of the reasons why this 2017 camera will still be here for a long time. There's no outdated cinematic tools only outdated video technology and these cameras can be beyond that :-)
-
You have your point. I believe no one can say it from me there ; ) I just think here, there and everywhere there's no need to overstate it in a way that seems it is more crucial than really is. It merely depends more on the shooter skills than that camera, really. Trust me :-) I placed on Monday a pre-order for this new Aussie toy to couple 2x E2 Z cameras. And I was actually waiting for NAB because I will need to order more one or even a couple of GH5 units, so go figure. That's the record of this acquisition tool so 2017... LOL ; ) No other camera offers anamorphic 5K (I'd rather call it like that) than that device at similar price range.
-
Jon, speaking of our recent discussion on ergonomics topic, hope we future BMPCC 4K users do not end there on a gimbal: :-)
-
LOL In good hands, pal, in good hands : ) The leftover, not even idea how to handle it ;-) The way the highlights clip is the only other shortcoming which can hurt the outcome if the user let it go...
-
C'mon Dennis, you are getting your workaround to control the beast or not? ;-)
-
Point taken. I agree only in a part. You can do whatever your goals may reach with such device. Just know the tool and your craft (E :-)
-
You see? You've just found some workaround going along the 6K anamorphic mode as they call it, so at last you second so in a way or another... A bit contradictory, what does it seem? ;-) You've just forgotten to add yours and mine :-D
-
Sometimes I wonder if a few posters ever shot anything, really... Sorry to be sincere... :-) You can always smooth practically anything, except a considerable weak acquisition codec at low bit rate as for instance or under certain severe artifacts such as aliasing or moiré or yet from insufficient color sampling (not exactly the case there for 95%-98% of the circumstances), going along dedicated craft and proper skills on both capture and post. - E.

Simply delicious... LOL :-) Source: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?359866-4k-bmpcc&p=1986749617&viewfull=1#post1986749617

Earlier than that, the reason why we are all here and gave name to this forum I believe and bet, as well: 5D Mark II. Without mention, the earliest DVX100. Very enthusiast price point then :-)
-
I guess E2 cam will offer internal recording on CFAST 2.0 or it wouldn't make sense they are announcing it as restricted to 4K60p externally :-)
-
WTH Where have you been yesterday? : ) That's SIMPLY NOT accurate: EDIT -- @Danyyyel Thanks for your quick answer on my and others behalf. I hadn't seen yet your post to directly address such nonsensical misinformation, which only ends in undesirable FUD. Lack of information spread online can damage and become miserable to the other side focusing to make things happen.

Indeed : ) Not even a tilt screen à la Sony to say the least. Perhaps an accessory like this one might be of some help on that one for the 5-inch screen size, obviously -- not available for this offer though: http://www.flipbac.com/ I recall about a few other ones on ebay I can't find anymore now. Here's a good tip a 3rd party may take in hands as easy as it apparently seems at least.
-
They introduce a pretty compelling add-on feature though: 4K 120fps. As well, a Sync Port, not interesting for everyone here but definitely beats not only the new one. The Micro Studio Camera 4K at least too, without internal recording. Unique of a kind in that small size factor.

Link is not working. There is another thread for that anyways: Or here as you wish: Why in this different topic then? :-)
-
People are always eagering for more, you know ;-)

Sorry mate, my bad, very likely. I've just arrived to their digital range now : ) Sony and mainly Panasonic have been the scope of my standard in the video realm so far. Fuji to me was Fujifilm, literally :-)
-
Seems Fuji follows Panasonic on firmware updates of significant importance. Nice for all of us, their customers :-)
-
Without IBIS though to begin with : ) Here's the leftover: https://photographylife.com/fujifilm-x-h1-vs-x-t2 Hope this helps a bit :-)
-
They already have their experience from the past. I want to believe they won't fail this time :-)
-
LOL Not exactly prone to be a man of consensus for the whole time being but, that's the way I like to read these boards... : ) Andrew's family house :-) Just for the record, CVP (England - UK - EU ; ) got 308 pre-orders last night until this morning. 89 looking for their web page while I type this one here. Or in the other side of the world (Brazil), these machines are a lovely surprise to anyone who doesn't know their outcome or may think on their eventual lack of responsiveness ;-)
