Here's another example where we can see the strengths (e.g. almost 1-stop faster + manual focus towards to shallower DOF as handy narrative tool and previously written in this thread):

Other than the focus and smoother UHD route avoiding such artificial edges for a much pleasant cinematic tool, I concur that's still soon to compare videos made by one and other options. There are only a few samples available out there yet on Mavic side against the older solutions for aerial acquisition with these small "toys". Even though and basically, as bird, we surely have a game changer :-) And finally, here's an interesting review to also focus on the capture device: http://www.newsshooter.com/2016/10/18/dji-mavic-pro-review-is-it-the-perfect-drone-for-the-occasional-flyer/

Not completely sure if it is legit, even though, I'd dare to say we might find a Mavic touch there -- tap to focus will surely be pretty useful for a skyline: On the discussion, it is plainly natural there are much more number of work pieces shot on Phantom or GoPro than Mavic to conclude anything on topic. Straight out of the box, Mavic footage is a way more cinematic because of manual focus and a softer outcome. I concur that some artificial edges are not welcome at all. My perspective too.

One of these days you'll be interested to take a look on this one...

Still from DJI's Lisbon event...

We live plainly in the digital economy, where free and premium tickets coexist altogether in the same package. Is that free lunch? I don't think so. That's just the rules of the game. As same as logging in on Facebook with some pathetic fake account because there's still people who refuse to put their own personal stuff/life online or need to click in the next messages to scroll down the page. When an useful blog article or a forum post like this one would fit much better. Again, is that properly professional? Maybe that's just me who's used to old school and not fancy windows to discuss any topic such as politics, sports or whatever other trivia to pair a geek world for professionals all in one in the same location. Comes to my mind the generalist TV channels or some information from sorta magazines/newspapers or even reviewers à la Mr. Neistat who approach in the same lighthearted manner a revolutionary manual focus quadcopter to follow the review on the 1st class flight food the day before.

So, they didn't have a better mobile device in the 4K world of nowadays, c'mon :P After all, 4K video on a smartphone only makes sense on their blog tests :D However, I am not taking the poor acquisition by itself, also the idle unprofessional facebook plataform, even the lazy presentation... BTW, I know I've had a busy working day today, but I even had a chance for a snap during the "screening", so I guess I am not the best one to praise such pretty eloquent test ;-)

Stupid video for such silly facebook post, anyways. I'm sorry but, is that professional...?
-
Yes, indeed. One of the lighthouse shots (at 1:14) is pretty representative of such feature. Actually, the add-on is evident for that particular shot, comparing to the previous ones immediately before. Finer narrative tool.

My perspective as well :-) This one seems legit too: BTW, here's already accessories offer:

That place really sucks, sorry : ) Dashcams are forbidden... what a joke : D Put a smartphone doing the role, what will they say? Will they confiscate your phone? In the name of what? Where's the loss of your privacy then? LOL :-) On topic, here are several different options:
-
No, racing is only addressed there for the motivation made. I mean other reviews I've seen. That's all. Opinions and reports of people who have tested the quad.
-
Well, that one is a spot especially made for that. Drone racing, that's the plot.
-
Without mention as far as I've seen from someone else testing, the bird Mavic Pro beats the older member of family despite the possible superior stability you refer.
-
I don't see any better IQ on the Phantom 4 side versus the Mavic Pro, actually, on the contrary... IQ is beyond artificial edges to my eyes or sharpness as you wish.
-
Simply because a6300 is not a professional video camera, neither for stills. It is a camera for amateurs, low budget indies who can use it carefully as B camera. In a tripod as most part of shots in any serious narrative piece, it can actually shine if the shooter knows the limitations of the device. If so, it can be a very interesting tool, really not expensive.
-
Horses for courses. No one can say RS is not there. Awful? For testing? Yes, it is. But, a good shooter should know how to use the tools, as we all know but tend to forget in the most geeky way of pages populated of geeks we all are too : ) a shooter is beyond that! :-) In the last part, there's 4K footage.

Current choice, current panorama... http://www.thefreedictionary.com/panoramic That ad is only a joke because Mavic wins the race hands down... ;-) It is a game changer, fellows! http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?349857-Bye-bye-Karma-GoPro-You-had-no-chance&p=1986661181&viewfull=1#post1986661181 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKInNs0z-20
