Same here. But, that's even healthy, I guess, on that one we can all agree on, isn't it? So, the point on the map thing is only a funny note to fool around, no more no less. To my book, I just take their offers and cameras technology much more serious than their geography literacy, that's for sure! XD OK, I think now time for a personal story from someone I met some time ago when I was living in Hamburg... Chinese-born and translator for a few days in some fair to take place in Hannover then, English teacher in Beijing as full-time job, no absolute key who 'The Beatles' had been... Literally. So, is there better example in order to figure out what's going on here...? Some people called it 'cultural redvolution' some decades ago. I bet that's surely a (hi)story from past (a sad current reality for the North Korean neighbours either of Yesterday or of nowadays), as same as 'the boxers' more than a century ago, however, some traces still part of our lives today (a bit weird in the beginning of XXI century and steps ahead somewhere in the middle of the digital age, oh yeah, but seems what seems to be). An optimistic note though: their international channels are up and they look like to feel a deep commitment with. That's what counts in the end, I hope :-) http://www.tcm.com/mediaroom/video/292330/55-Days-At-Peking-Movie-Clip-Chinese-Rules.html

And what about this funny world map... http://www.kinefinity.com/kineteam/kine-linked/?lang=en ...?! : - D

... A few others have been going in the opposite direction such as this shooter here:

G7 is a very interesting tool. NX1 too. With more aliasing issues though, IMO.

Why such amount of hostility against these guys?! Can anyone explain to me?? Seriously. No comments, no opinions once each one may have one... But, facts with evidence, please. Thanks.

Panasonic GH5 to come at Photokina 2016, shoots 6K video and 4K 60p?
Emanuel replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
For sure. New Nikons do it. -
Canon will surely be in this particular 4K game soon as same as the other ones or would risk to lose or miss the game. As much as Trump ; ) if/when competition may act stronger... Canon customer here, but not as camera owner since 2009 when I bought my last Canon camera (5DII).

That's not important. I even quoted your thought in another thread : ) Only later, I realized the price drop is $2K, that's what matters in fact. And this changes the price range of the offer indeed. As for instance to me, it already started to interest us, my clientele included. So, in the end your news have been very welcome to my plans. I'd just like to arrange some other more affordable drone offer such as the one manufactured by 3DRobotics. The difference with the GoPro H4 is not small, pretty huge, to be straight forward.
-
Yes, but that's not the point. When they announced the camera, they didn't release the price. Only for the X5R/Inspire 1 combo: $8K, dropped now to $6K. $3,199.00 is for the camera and gimbal only, not including the drone.
-
X5R price hadn't been announced, actually. Only Inspire 1 X5R kit has dropped the price from $8K to $6K. Not exactly a half, even as bundle.

5 underrated cinematic images from "forgotten" cameras
Emanuel replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
I double mine. Zero scratches though and my very core museum sample. 5DII is yet a very capable camera. It costed 10x less than a RED ONE body new and is worthy now no less than 1/4-1/5th used. So, doubled its value in second hand. -
Hue... Very stupid choice BTW No natural colors anymore... no sense at all
-
There are so many options out there, there's no sense to spend extra budget today. I've found somewhere between G7, Ursa Mini 4.6K and now the upcoming X5R for half of the announced price, three affordable bets.

5 underrated cinematic images from "forgotten" cameras

Sorry man, but that 2 minutes to boot disclaimer in 2016 seems to me something like I love that woman but she's still dating other men when I am not around... : D Anyway, I praise and share your love for old stuff. It can also be something like she has become old but she is still my first love :-) Emanuel -
F35 is a myth. 4.6K all the way. It doesn't make sense except to those who don't care to spend their precious time (= money) to sell something they've learned to love.

What transfer? How did you perform it?

Funny... they didn't use it at all. But, to be the first "users" to post a review they were the first ones...! Phew : P

Agreed. Where's the " epic fail " then?

EOSHD advises Leica on LOG as SL system gets new firmware update
Emanuel replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
Nice to see you, Andrew : ) And aside your worthy contribution to the cause, the nice fellow your good looking says to testify in your behalf. I hope this can also help out a few people more in the ground to feel people like we all are: people, same species. Rather than useless and nonsensical personal attacks in every piece of corner where some people's bet is the hate or envy to each other. Fortunately, not all of us... Merry Christmas to all wherever you are! E :-) -
To landscapes, 1080p is not the best winner route...

If you'll use an external recorder and trigger from there (i.e. press recording directly from the device), you'll overcome the heating issues for 4K.
