Indeed. I completely understand you. This is one of my wishes for coming one of next Christmas... : D

Correct. But glass is still what I love going along this format. No other one matches the most affordable and smallest variety of glass options we can find. Let alone from slow to fastest ones. Always light and convenient. It's a hell of a format. Everything or almost, even PL mount, LOMOs, anamorphics and so on, fits there. Therefore, FF look too ;- )

I am very happy with these news. Has anyone here used the SIRUI MFT anamorphics*? Now try to find something more affordable but for same results... EAG :- ) * Disclaimer: I have the full set.

P4K
-
Dunno but nothing beats these guys now coupled to PDAF IMHO... : P Well, only Blackmagic user/filmmaker camera interface to my book ; ) Reason why P4K is still one of my favs but that's a whole distinct speech TBH, right.

I see MFT as 'THE' format by its own. It's 8mm/S8/16mm/S16/35mm/S35 in a whole package... FF look is always possible to achieve with the right glass... ...but you have no such a versatile set of different glass and price range -- no less important, elsewhere as happens going on along this route. Shows this/'the' format is alive, so how couldn't I like it? All POWER (with capital letters) on it! Love for the format, - EAG

PS: Out of curiosity (a mere happy coincidence my Chaplin reference BTW, I had no idea about the exact date before to post and check now), the shooting of THE GREAT DICTATOR began precisely 84 years ago... same September 9 and it wasn't more of a "new" GoPro Hero yearly release. "Shooting of the film started on September 9th 1939, eight days after the Nazis had invaded Poland." source: https://www.festival-cannes.com/en/2016/the-great-dictator-or-when-chaplin-makes-a-fool-of-hitler/

Or should I have used 'began' other than twice the word typed "started"...? ; ) LOL EAG :- )
-
I think we have to refrain our criticism as geekers when we are mainly filmmakers, I guess. What's more important? A newer gadget to play? Or having merely recording times duplicated on a GoPro Hero11 Mark II? : P Does new technology advances mean anything when we have the same tools already good enough for making pictures? No excuse for inertia, lack of talent/ideas but as filmmakers instead IMHO. Pops to mind now Chaplin's dilemma when talkies led him to upcycle the little tramp... Shooting started in September 1939 but project started in 1938...

Yup. It's a successful business model... :- )
-
It's official now, just a few days until September 6, coming soon... https://gopro.com/en/us/info/hero12-black-teaser

How many minutes of use?
-
Indeed, I had already decided to buy in white colour if any and posted in these boards BTW because of that, so that doesn't surprise me at all, just comes to confirm my bet :- )
-
I don't understand the complaints, really. Looks like to me mere nerdy geeks talk, that's it, no more no less, unfortunately. - EAG :- )
-
No less you two when you don't personally attack each other... ...and there's room for this superior fresh irony which is unbeatable, really, when happens BTW, great one, kye! Had a good laugh here! LOL Join those like me then... who follow @markr041's videos from the most recent camera releases, who else among us lately? - EAG :- ) PS: This forum is one of the surviving places on web today, so let's give it the due credit and take care of each other, we'd all lose it without each one of us...

Love your posts and viewpoint, pal! :- )

IBIS is the selling point of the Nikon. I believe with no much overheating issues or an efficient workaround we're set.
-
Reposted in the right thread... BTW, we know R5C has no overheating issues. What about the Z8?

I hear you and am in the same Canikon dilemma over one of them.
