"...there still aren't many ways to view 8K footage." I am in doubt these specs are for real for now but even more astonished how people don't realize 8K or even 4K acquisition is often little to none about delivery! People are stupid or intend to insist on a moot point just for the sake of showing it off?

I appreciate your posts, I really do but sometimes I wonder if I'll ever read anything from certain posters here or elsewhere to not complain about this or that. - EAG :- )

@IronFilm David, as usual, your posts top no matter how ex aequo happen :- )

@Django Thanks man for your input, I guess I'd feel it in the same way : ) Even though, there's one to arrive soon.

No worried at all, more power for indies like me. There is looooooooot of content outside, that's the PURE truth. Nothing will change. To me, they could stop for decades, I would still have no time to put on track everything I absolutely have no time to watch, while I am busy on my the production(s) of my own. -
I think he only wanted to mention his point, kye, your posts are priceless. Period. Greetings to you from a grateful community, Emanuel

I am in love with this camera... who is not with such level of specs? : ) So far, I haven't checked anything to not confirm it, that's it.

Ditto: Love 8K60p, love raw, love this camera! Exactly.

The best footage I've ever seen shot by you. I think this speaks volumes... :- )

@markr041 I struggle to understand how and why we have to fight hard to buy or get access to some new releases but you invariably come here to post stuff from every single piece of most recent gear we've all been dreaming/salivating about! LOL : ) Are you used to buy them all? :- )

Blackmagic Pocket 6K and Nikkor Primes (24, 35 and 50 mm) with Black Mist 1/4 filter for this first part of shooting. 48 hours to go. Reached 30% above the funding goal, so we'll have the chance to improve the movie. Without the 46 backers so far, nothing of this would have been possible, thanks for the support! :- )

Man, I took a look on your offer, hats off : ) Writes a film producer with both film and legal backgrounds , so I guess this may speak a little ; ) on filmmaking, not only but mainly production/editing/directing for decades of practice today, so not exactly too little nor too much : D This community owes you the respect due to creators like you more than common people, my humble words to praise your finest input over here or anywhere else you touch along such grace :- ) Send me a PM with your WhatsApp contact please. Thanks, - EAG -
@kye Great addition! : ) Now try to find the same elsewhere! Priceless community we have here. @Andrew Reidthis place of yours should have its recognition as of public interest body. EAG :- )

No Marty, actually not, only Mike's irony here. I had been not so creative! : D

Unfortunately. It's not so different when I hear people saying they don't watch old movies because of their grainy aspect. Or why people shoot B&W when the world is not made of colour blindness. Or yet they can barely handle actors when not Hollywood stars. And on and on. To put the bar high is not so easy, to make it lower beats it ;- )
-
Marty, ...the remark of Mike is the same of ours, just using his irony to let implicit the same friendly tone we are expecting from everyone here.

Other than the vertical video (I've learnt we should never mention the devil's name : D) everything else is perfect in your post, as usual BTW, well, you look like you're also updated on the most nonsense trend mobile world is contributing for the humankind evolution. Towards the only eye people have in their back. Without mention animals too. But they are safe because they have no idea what a smartphone is, humans definitely see it with only one eye sorta belly button. Hence no camera replacement there. 16mm or 8mm footage will always look better than 8K, count on it -- and I can't wait to put my hands on that thing (Z8).

People should not attack whoever is. It's pointless.
