According to the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office, he was fatally shot twice by Russian servicemen while unarmed and wearing a press jacket. https://www.ukrinform.net/rubric-ato/3446547-documentary-photographer-photojournalist-maks-levin-found-dead-in-kyiv-region.html https://www.lensculture.com/maks-levin https://www.facebook.com/levin.maks

EOSHD YouTube: A lot of Oscar 2022 nominated films using vintage lenses
Emanuel replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
It's not April fool's... The Academy also claims that the "King Richard" star refused to leave the ceremony after being asked. https://variety.com/2022/awards/awards/will-smith-academy-expulsion-possibility-chris-rock-1235219383/ -
This is truly the strength of the most ultimate indie spirit indeed : ) Who needs a new camera release? ;- )

...and it's not April fool's ; ) Versatile enough... looks like pretty clear to me we have here a hell of a camera :- )

EOSHD interview with Panasonic manager about the GH6
Emanuel replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
I hope if/when Andrew will sell his beloved EOSHD, he may open a new one where we can all come aboard once again : D along his unique contribution to the mirrorless world IMO as the most important pioneer (of the whole press) he is :- ) -
Correct : ) The lack of a simple word ("with") put the meaning of my post upside down. There are human limits for good old 2D content though :- )
-
Hence my disclaimer ;- )
-
Yup, seems human limits have been reached... Not many some other uses in the media businesses and multiple extra gates open from there at the acquisition side though :- )
-
Yeah, 8K 50p / 60p looks like a new standard to come for acquisition: source Do we really need IBIS? ; )

From same pilot (I guess Italian for the accent and landscape ; ) now against the... ...Mini 2 (I purchased last year BTW) I don't see any better reason other than low light shooting conditions: No idea what that insistence on "structure of sky" means anyway... I am not that pilot! LOL And I work with pictures for more than 30 years already now! : D A particular note the way he describes the much (not necessarily mushy) most cinematic Mini 2 outcome which according him looks like those 60s' movies on a 4K display... Funny to not be sad ; )) And the concept how ignorant people (on motion pictures) see detail or representation of anything aka art. - EAG

As far as I could understand, we strictly need external battery to reach 8K RAW LT 50p going with AF + IS but both work with RF lens (I guess with EF lens adapter too?), correct? How come and from where comes that information you mention to be more precise mate @gt3rs?
-
So, no IS provided in-lens going with 8K 50p/60p?

Depressing Academy Awards' yesterday, not only for the winners (Spielberg and Kenneth Branagh being beaten by Jane Campion is a joke) but above all, people act like nothing is going on in the East. Let alone the egocentric/selfish and poor overacting little performance carried out by someone (Will Smith) who, despite his craft, still doesn't understand what to be an actor means or yet to be a man either. Coppola, Al Pacino e De Niro saved them all with the only mention to Ukraine suffering made all over the show... -
-
In the meantime... who doesn't like slo-mo 8K? ;- )

Dunno, dunno... Is this actually bad?! Really? Well, no idea about y'all fellows, but I've had a few cases where the manufacturers don't even admit any faulty unit, just to not mention any QC issues... go figure! : P In a line, glad they did it : ) So I guess they've actually done it in the other way round to my book instead. Comes to my mind... sorta when a teen ignores the beautiful curves of the new chick on the block just to avoid how to afford the high expenses for courting her... LOL ;- ) My next camera. - EAG

In fact, I praise Canon's efforts to give us this marvelous 2022 device, I'm sorry guys but I don't buy the customary negativism towards them this time ; ) Without mention the 5D series since the legendary and really re(D)volutionary Mark II and the M... let alone coupled to ML ;- )

I wouldn't risk to fly or send it to Eastern Europe right now! : D WTH of rig! Intelligence officers must pay attention to your toys, man! ; )

Seems first production units have landed... And that eye detection AF is simply sweet: No idea on settings and setup but that handheld stuff looks like pretty decent to me:

I guess the problem is not the ideas to share but when people rather than discussing ideas and listen them, impose their egos without any respect for the ideas aka the standpoint of the other side. An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth can only lead to self-destruction instead. We cannot survive without the other part external to us.
