In the meantime... who doesn't like slo-mo 8K? ;- )

Dunno, dunno... Is this actually bad?! Really? Well, no idea about y'all fellows, but I've had a few cases where the manufacturers don't even admit any faulty unit, just to not mention any QC issues... go figure! : P In a line, glad they did it : ) So I guess they've actually done it in the other way round to my book instead. Comes to my mind... sorta when a teen ignores the beautiful curves of the new chick on the block just to avoid how to afford the high expenses for courting her... LOL ;- ) My next camera. - EAG

In fact, I praise Canon's efforts to give us this marvelous 2022 device, I'm sorry guys but I don't buy the customary negativism towards them this time ; ) Without mention the 5D series since the legendary and really re(D)volutionary Mark II and the M... let alone coupled to ML ;- )

I wouldn't risk to fly or send it to Eastern Europe right now! : D WTH of rig! Intelligence officers must pay attention to your toys, man! ; )

Seems first production units have landed... And that eye detection AF is simply sweet: No idea on settings and setup but that handheld stuff looks like pretty decent to me:

I guess the problem is not the ideas to share but when people rather than discussing ideas and listen them, impose their egos without any respect for the ideas aka the standpoint of the other side. An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth can only lead to self-destruction instead. We cannot survive without the other part external to us.

As I could let Andrew privately know about the opinion of my own, let's erase the bad apples and let the fresh ones be up! There's no filmmaking without life : ) The world needs light and only good trade of ideas can help it IMHO :- ) Just my two cents... - EAG

It's a pleasure to see you two to join such conversation, that's part of your legacy pal @Andrew Reid ;- )

A bargain, Marty... I bought four of them for €100 average a piece! :- )

First impressions of the Panasonic GH6 I have on loan
Emanuel replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
I am still in shock with all this... What the hell is it? History will judge and have no mercy, no matter how wild the wildest of our dreams are : X Truth is external to us, we adhere to or are out of the game, no doubts on it. My prayers and thoughts with all my brothers wherever they are. Too sad and bad all this, strange days these we're living today in 2022... : ( -
Horses for courses. One doesn't replace the other... But there are ones less than others and vice versa, hence my comment. What's the problem of external stuff attached to? I use my P4K as any other PROfessional device BTW. I have had them since GH1 and I wouldn't sell my P4K for any one of those. No matter how much I love them... Really :- )
-
I salute their effort... : ) If they'll ever succeed to launch a GH7 once, this proves there's market for -- I sincerely hope! Even because no other format offers such sweet affordable diversity of glass, including anamorphics as MFT does... So, long life to! EAG :- )

There's no competitor nor will there ever be for P4K... :- )

Well, where are the cats? The flowers...?

Which cameras have the most pleasing grain structure?
Emanuel replied to QuickHitRecord's topic in Cameras
Well, quick hit record is not exactly what you're expecting when you shoot film... LOL :- ) -
Great shot man, thanks for sayin' and sharing it : ) People need to figure it out, this is what art is all about, not tech... No matters how huge our geek component is ; ) I love technology but nothing beats art : P Not once, nor ever :- ) - EAG

Sent : ) Matthew, your short movie is something really unique... and I just think this production should be celebrated, once people end fully surrendered < 3

Emanuel replied to QuickHitRecord's topic in Cameras
: D Pretty on the spot, you have eye, same thing here... : ) I only think you just forgot to mention yet the most affordable bargain ever out there: Blackmagic and Canon... Funny, isn't it? ;- ) -
hey Marty @PannySVHS where's yours then? :- )

Fisheyes are tricky indeed, we all know that ; ) I didn't watch it in VR but... At same time, it's no hard to check whether the camera angle or its movement both actually result in anything you want but just not there as the best example of the most talented découpage and finest directing approach IMO OFC :- ) Tricky or not we all understand the low angle shot and the way the camera goes forward... That would just need a more inventive solution under the perspective of the directing, to my book at least : P
-
Nor the absence of composition... WTH is that fail in a promo paid?! OK, we all know fisheyes are not exactly sweet for human faces & bodies but no one told the shooter, the setup i.e. the angle where to place the camera, the height of the whole thing, distance to the subject and so on is actually part of the craft...?
