To stand corrected, not exactly the best accordingly to a scientific test but approved by the most people involved on his annual Blind Smartphone Camera Test. So, an Audience Award. More information here: https://petapixel.com/2020/12/03/results-from-this-blind-smartphone-camera-test-will-surprise-you/

Remember him and his earliest RED Hydrogen review? ; ) Well, now he considers my top one the best device available out there too as Marques Brownlee's contest winner:

No, you're not, we are all the idiots because they dare to launch it without such feature when any smartphone today practically offers 60 frames acquisition going along UHD : ) They would compete with the action cameras anyway, so they'd rather ignore to play the Panasonic part we're used to but not with them. Damned tiny sensor size cameras we have to shoot with.

Not for this model or I had already bought one :- )

It depends what version is: https://www.cpu-monkey.com/en/compare_cpu-apple_m1-1804-vs-amd_ryzen_9_3950x-932 https://www.cpu-monkey.com/en/compare_cpu-apple_m1-1804-vs-amd_ryzen_9_4900hs-1285 And here's with Intel: https://www.cpu-monkey.com/en/compare_cpu-apple_m1-1804-vs-intel_core_i9_10980hk-1329 Yet: https://laptopmedia.com/comparisons/preliminary-apple-m1-vs-intel-core-i9-10980hk-the-m1-is-better-in-single-core-but-loses-in-multi-core/ Still on PC side, try your luck with a much power AMD: here (from same source BTW). I'd say 16GB VRAM eGPU is not to neglect willing to use Resolve. Looks like we should all pay more attention on other than only processor related or benchmarks, especially on Resolve side: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/studio/products/ Hope this helps you guys as useful info before any decision what stuff fits better your needs: https://www.cnet.com/news/how-i-built-my-dream-8k-capable-video-editing-pc/ https://mediapc.com.au/media-pc-mpc500r-ryzen-workstation/ So the news is as someone already said up there:

Canon EOS R5 / R6 overheating timers, workarounds, and Magic Lantern
Emanuel replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
From here: "After using a thermal camera and noticing a hotspot appearing on the back of his camera during video recording, Matt opened up the R5 and examined the rear internals. He found that the camera’s main processor is the culprit that generates a great deal of heat during recording and that the thermal pads covering the processor don’t seem to be positioned very well. (...) Matt also believes that Canon could have designed the camera to dump the heat toward the bottom of the camera and then sold a separate base attachment for videographers that provides vastly extended recording times." What a shame... : ( -
This is silly. My country will spend 11 millions this year on a Web Summit ...online. And the brand (!) Photokina will simply vanish?! Why? Is photography dying and I haven't noticed yet? Or the DSLR/mirrorless industry for Christ's sake? Does it make any sense? : ( On the other hand, smartphone manufacturers celebrate computational photography...

Here's an interesting Black Friday deal for your mobile device:

My beef against Mavic Pro 2 is that couple of grams over 900 mark, the difference between to be subject to be fined or not... ; ) Everyone asking me I am able to suggest the true jump from original version and IMHO much better than the Mini 2 designed for U.S. market limitations, her sister and here is why:

Blackmagic rules the filmmaking business today IMO : ) Sorta ARRI for Indie players :- )

oh God and as enthusiast on everything Irish included all "things" for this November... ; ) ...I thought I had done so much buzz over the parade as fanfare leader and cheerleading coach ! : D Shame on me... LOL ;- )

Done. Contributions #274 & #275 complied. Remarkable: Proud of you @BTM_Pix serving such restless level of the filmmaking community ...and congrats to you too! @Andrew Reid This is another milestone of this forum @John Brawley @CaptainHook

Exciting tool for this unique purchase, I don't even remember to ever be so excited with something more lately... 9 hours left. Fellows based in Europe, tomorrow morning this offer is over, this is really a last call for such discounted price: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/afx-autofocus-adapter/x/4309913#/

Add blur and you'll overcome the oversharpened outcome, pretty neat if you have the highlights over control as well.

Almost 24 hours to close the campaign... time to the last lucky bastards join the party ;- )

Any heads-up about interesting offers available outside from your knowledge and information, hey folks? : ) BTW @Sage now: I've literally been contacted from people outside the forum looking for a chance this season towards your product in specific. Any word to them from you? :- )

January 8th, 1935 - November 17th, 2020. One of the masters of underwater photography and its pioneer. Without him we would have all a different progress in this craft and tools to create our work. Credentials to whom earned them. JFYI https://divingalmanac.com/brooks-ii-ernest/

I guess this initiative has cleared overcome any initial expectations on both ways, kudos to you man! Any filmmaker outside of this deal has no idea what is missing. Only to say the least : ) Salivating for next release!

Doesn't beat the Evo II Pro to my eyes : ) but the best choice is always that one we can use it for its weight under the most restrict flight regulations... correct? ; )
-
Really? At all? What a pity, I had no idea.

A bit awkward for shooters used to photo camera form factor, I agree but take a look on this convenience for casual shooting considering such outcome even under low light conditions in the middle of a street setup:

No IBIS is a deal breaker for people used to already have it in 2020 for less than 6000 bucks. That electronic ND filter also going along the a7SIII might be the extra plus against the most direct competitors today for growing their E-mount adopters basis indeed. Lack of future sales perspective from their side if you ask me :- )
-
That's a double challenge indeed : ) Isn't that what they actually try?? ; ) It's not true such attempt is totally useless at all. Without mention, cut is part of the process, post (part of this craft) is not only trying to correct with 10% warp stabilization. That said, imperfection is part of this art. There is a level of tolerance on both ways for sure. Other than that it's just people complaining on web ;- )

I also wonder if this cannot be handled from optimizing the better settings to properly do the job, limiting the lens IS included. No other (action) cam will be able to give you that FF outcome anyway :- )
