That would be a good kick in the ass of Canon if/when someone else would earn substantial gross amount of money in front of their greed. Is it so hard to supply it @BTM_Pix hey our engineer? : ) Canon's R5 product manager should also send a good thanks card to, I guess.

Nothing new to see here. Pure story already told and seen. They all tend to do it or the majority at least. So, we need a new order telling them they will end not nice in the picture in this age of digital revolution and internet... That's it. I still hope for popular demand they will be back. They did it with 5DII, even though there was no C line yet and that was actually the beginning of theirs.

On their C series line they don't abandon as a mistress a few people would care about. How can we be so sure of it? When? Still in 2020? Early 2021 much more like?

Horses for courses, they are different animals : ) R5 is a crippled hybrid, so they designed it with still photographers in mind because they have a range of higher price cameras for sale to filmmakers. Sad but no surprises here.

They didn't design a hybrid because they simply didn't want it. For obvious reasons. A pity. Our trade-off now is trying now how to take advantage from this gem, if possible, in order to overcome this overheating issue and their firmware cripple.

I've been watching this part 5. Almost 1 hour long... I quit when I realized it's a comedy after all! I thought it was a drama instead : D Both sides. In my country, we're used to say we cannot be more Popists than the Pope himself. Seems clear to me now the legal team or whoever wrote that disclaimer on limitation of liability had no single idea what was going on there. That's the finest example how standard-form contracts are actually illegal and nobody had the mercy to inform them! LOL (E :- )
