How many of you? Two aspects to consider: 1) When some insight you get from apples to oranges principle and you end to buy another you wouldn't be willing to, but you end to conclude not much else you can do... : D 2) When you try to see any difference from and add no reason to find any... you can always blame the comparative term or/and man behind anyway... YT is a load of it : P This is coming from a different discussion here though...

Inspired : D by you Marty @PannySVHS I've just posted there when 5-minutes limitation to edit any post here has given to this community a new post elsewhere: :- )

That said, I've just paid one unit (for now) of this temptation today... not only but also because of this: Tests will probably lead to a 2nd unit a couple of years distant from the release year, it happens! : P Let's play with a few comparisons then: Why I DON'T Travel With a Camera Anymore iPhone 15 BETTER than the SONY FX30? IPhone 15 Pro Max VS Sony FX30 - Cinematic | Madrid My Thoughts Comparing the Sony fx30 and the fx3 Nothing new to see here so yes, I bought it with the XLR-H1 Top Handle Unit as a fair bundle (new condition) for a hundred bucks more ($131 to be more precise) no matter what* : D for a fraction of the original price, yes. Maybe it will actually be used for stereography 3D acquisition based on 4K 100fps coupled to proper native ISO ; ) The fact is the possibility of using my anamorphic sets MFT based, as well C mount bargains and all the PZ + Clear Image Zoom offers by Sony, have made something really unique to my eyes for same price I have bought a BMCC6K-FF the month before :- ) * with studio tests

I'd say they are in hands of different people nowadays or those ones have transferred themselves somewhere else... ; ) LOL

As written earlier, it's natural because the use is basically in hands of casual shooters. The focus should be centered here on the capabilities of the features and performance of the device itself, not the skills or goal of the individuals behind. Let alone the question of taste outside now. I haven't bought one yet but it is something I won't be able to ignore. This doesn't mean it is a replacement for anything other than the segment it is. Some other trouble I am used to read over these same pages is to compare apples to oranges. It doesn't make sense at all to me. You cannot compare a bike with a car. :- )

I understand the point and there are a few several sacred cows as always in such an old country, Martinez knows he is working in Salazar's land so better to not touch in the furniture he found when arrived, it's more or less the way it works but not necessarily CR7 related. I guess he is more in focus from outside for real who see him greater than the country itself/ourselves and under a nationwide attention, when Vitinha goes to bench, Rafael Leão follows but the men of United and City stand no matter their shape, just as an example. Hope France will repeat 2016 hehe ; ) and good luck to England for a safe next match then... :- )

*aesthetics (but yes, it is or sounds an ethical trouble no less LOL ; )

What should not surprise me in these boards is the fact people come here to comment the personal taste or choice of this or that shooter -- usually non-professional users (I mean the people publishing videos on YT, not exactly who addresses or writes here about it). This has little to no sense to me. I'd understand it when aethetics is the topic. But sincerely, along these pages? When the reason to be here is the thread of this or that particular capture device? The purpose is the discussion of the features and potentiality of a given tool, not the way one or another individual took it in or for this or that stated situation. On this specific piece of technology: 1) Is its sharpness outcome anything you'll be unable to overcome to begin with? 2) Is its tiny sensor size and form factor a limitation of its own as far as IQ concerns? 3) Is its temporal and spatial noise acceptable for the aim of its use, i.e., how it looks when exposed or/and how about its much desired low light performance too for people using it exclusively with available light? 4) How compares with its predecessors and current competitors? 5) What kind of integration is possible to extend with other add-ons, filter accessories, stabilization helpers, the case of a gimbal built-in here, how many other camera suppliers offer the same?? ; ) This is what matters in the end. All the rest is pure noise with apparently no fix to me ;- ) - EAG :- )

Tools nowadays are each day more irrelevant, any device can offer practically in this industry in 2024 the Holy Grail with the current technology. What is the non-approved cameras mantra, after all? ; ) Overheating issues? LOL This craft is much more skills-driven than ever before into digital age since 10-bits 4:2:2 when not raw has become the norm for the light and colour science's sake, no matter how poor the audiences or the filmmakers enrich their show off... ;- )

WOW What a goalkeeper... and what a national pride the way we realise a new real sporting hero is your fellow-countryman! «Portugal’s Diogo Costa became the first goalkeeper to save three penalties in a UEFA European Championship penalty shoot-out. He is the first goalkeeper not to concede in a EURO shoot-out.» https://www.uefa.com/euro2024/news/028f-1b444b669763-02cf9eef0516-1000--portugal-0-0-slovenia-aet-3-0-pens-diogo-costa-heroics-take-/

Of course, the filters are part of the cinematography process... Often people talk about like only SOOC is legit and the use of filters or post are mere tricks WTH the pudding stuff is the secret sauce of this craft not else BTW ; ) and you can make with mere skills the Osmo Pocket look like a cinema camera no matter how sharp outcome gives to you ;- )

https://petapixel.com/2023/09/21/behold-the-power-of-sony-clear-image-zoom-a-feature-nobody-talks-about/ Sony has it. Anything similar anywhere else along other brands? Upcoming Z6 III price with no taxes in Japan has placed me thinking on letting down a FX30 purchase on works... for mostly 4K100p nowadays and who knows 3D stereography applications later on... When I was already dreaming with my MFT anamorphics coupled to a regular adapter, oh gosh what cruel world this camera industry and their releases can be! LOL : ) Without mention 10 bits 4:2:2 can do the trick. On the other side, this is something I find it as some delightful playground. Power zoom lenses can be used on both via Megadap ETZ21, so that's practically the same for that regard. GX85 is my favourite form factor on handheld, so the closer the better, hence this thread other than the main topic up there: https://camerasize.com/compare/#925,895 I never understood why viewfinder is any of a trouble when the proper accessory can easily handle it. Modular is my bedside table mantra instead ; ) Any input is welcome! :- )

haha That clinical eye of kye! ; ) Well, I think the question is more towards what we can identify as the usable/acceptable terms or not, isn't it? :- )
-
Here you have an example of it :- )
-
How did you guess? ; ) hehe
-
Take again another look in that model up there! LOL Nope, never! LMAO :- )

To me, reports of no overheating no less but price places it at the Z8 range, it's pricey for now IMO. It will come to the territory of $2K-2.5K soon, though... Then it will become harder to not buy it. I've just purchased the BMCC6K-FF new for €1444.54... Pretty neat and impossible to miss it! ;- )
-
Yes, they have introduced PDAF in their latest models versus contrast-based autofocus for some reason... ; ) For stationary subjects can work out though. I personally like their cameras but don't like their old option. Just expecting to have the chance to test the new adoption anyways. :- )

Imperfections, flaws are not necessarily unaesthetic but the opposite when they can be creatively worked into the aesthetic object and serve the subject included. - EAG

For sure @Andrew Reid, great post and insight with such an example where anti-cinematic as you've called it and it is, becomes the most cinematic answer and as also written, "sometimes"... That's the OP's point, there's taste (where poll fits BTW) and world beyond ;- )
-
And you are fairly right! : ) No vote still applies ; ) I've just added it, as said in Europa/Zentropa (1991) 'cause the truth resides with those who take sides, so I can't help myself and I am actually sick of some fallacy the geek inside us hints our inner side to believe : D
-
LOL : ) Thanks! I told you perception is half way... I think it's high time already to add my vote then. Done ;- )
-
To me, sharp glass looks like all the same :- )
-
Maybe the most accurate line produced in these boards for ages about anything you can hear directly to both this craft and technology related :- )
-
Very true : ) However, thers's a solid difference between them, enough to advise me I won't want to replace the MFT lens I already have and no AF will be able to deviate myself from the purchase of a MFT -> E mount adapter instead, go figure why LOL ;- )
