    there is a banding issue with the Nikon d5200 so please to your research and read up on this before you buy one!! beware!

    Import duty and taxes .....beware!!!!   this will increase the price and Customs will look for an expensive lens you will not get away with no duty!!

    non of those ........get a Panasonic GH2 it kills all the above add a Nick Driftwood hack to it and you have a stunning cinema quility camera I cannot stress how good this camera is blow the Canons and Nikons out the water

    hack does not effect stils at all only video recording   dont limit yourself to modern auto lens I use all manual lens on my gh2 dont ever use auto lenses even for stills

    The lens has no focus adjustment capabilities so the 'taking' lens is used for focusing. The ISCO Animex will not focus to infinity. It begins to lose resolution abruptly at 4.5 metres and requires a diopter when used at less than 2.5 metres. Depth-of-field could best be described as 'shallow'. avoid!

    the Pentax will give the SLR magic a very good run for the money!     once the 3D CGI boys get their hands on the elements the original cinematography gets massively watered down and the cg element takes over the final control of the look and feel of the frame in question. I have been directing Green/Blue Screen for 17 years now for MTV shot on film and now digital and I have to say from my experiance the months spent in post completely re defines the cinematography , resizing , relighting , reframing adding cg background compositing etc etc grading etc By the time I've finished with it don't recognise my own original work it's been altered so much to create the final composite image of original film elements and added cgi elements.   I view 'Life Of Pi' in exactly the same way that's why I was shocked that it won the Oscar for best cinematography over some of the other candidates I thought where more deserving of the award.

    gH2 is superior to gh3 in my opinion after testing a gh3 against my hacked gh2 The gh2 codec is superior to 5dmkIII much more detail in the image

    the Wesley is very good as it does not barrel distort and with no swirly bokeh it acts like a 'normal lens ' it is very sharp and great in lo light it says f1.4 but is really more like an f2 lens if you can find one I would highly recomend it. The Pentax 25mm is more readily available and is a stunning arty lens

    save your money and buy the Pentax/Cosmicar 25mm f1.4 c mount lens it is stunningly sharp and under $100 on ebay works great on gh2 in low light at night a must have lens for everyones kit bag http://vimeo.com/29814909 also Wesley 24mm f1.4 is very very good

    buy a second hand Panasonic GH2 off ebay.     I've listed my Carl Zeiss Aanamorphic lens and Tecnoir 15mm rod holder for it   its on ebay here   http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230945299026?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1586.l2649   stunning super sharp classic German Schott glass - I prefer this lens to my Hypergonar HI FI 2 as its sharper and the contrast is better - the Schott glass produces really nice Blacks and cool blue flares
