  Yes that is correct once you have alligned the lens correctly you lock it and leave it , you can then just slide the lens on and off your rails That was the whole point of me making this as I was sick of having to re align my lenses horizontally everytime I use them on a job.   I have different holders for different anamorphic lenses and I can now just quickly switch fron one anamorphic lens to another easlily and quickly no hassle knowing it is always correctly alligned.

We have been developing this over the past year for use on the Tecnoir Cinema Rig and other generic15mm rod/ rail systems. This Tecnoir Anamorphic lens holder is designed to hold the latest version of Schneider, Isco and Sankor integrated anamorphic lenses. if you have the latest version of VLC in PC or Mac (I use both) it has aspect ratios you can just apply with out having to type in numbers go to video menu pull down the menu and select aspect ratio and then choose what ratio you want ! Bingo - easy!!

save your money and buy a Carl Zeiss Flektogon 35mm f2.4 superb lens very sharp and you can buy one on ebay cheap Shooting a wedding at T1.4 is not advisable as you will have such a narrow dof your wedding guests faces will be half in focus half out of focus! they wont be happy!   I have shot pop videos for MTV with the Carl Zeiss Flektogon it is a stunning lens

also Fujinon 35mm f3.5 is a great very very sharp lens too

Carl Zeiss Flektogon 35mm f2.4  - no contest at all ! this is my favourite Carl Zeiss lens I use it alot its great very very sharp ! plus it has close focus for macro that the other dont have so you can film stuff about 5 inches from the lens

I have the Vivitar 55mm 2.8 it is ok not as good as flektogon 35mm carl zeiss of the sigma 24mm

fujian 35mm cctv lens is rubbish only sharp in the middle of the lens massive drop off goes very soft away from the center and looks wierd to me

the rainbow 35mm is not a great lens on a gh2 - you are better with a carl zeiss flektogon 35mm f2.4 get the 25mm fujian cctv lens it on ebay now lots of them the Pentax 25mm and Wesley 24mm are harder to find on ebay

these is maybe a small percentage difference but not much the pentax has good contrast and nice blacks both have the swirly Bokeh both are cheap so get both if you can

I have lots of helios 44's and I prefer the early ones as they flare better with my anamorphic lens my best one is a 1970's model Im not really a fan of the newer ones at all

Wesley 24mm f1.4 is also very good and sharp , has a more natural look and none of that swirly Bokeh the Pentax 25mm f1.4 has The Wesley is sharper right to the edges and does not vingette as much Pentax can be bought for $80 on ebay
