I am selling my A7s. Its an ergonomic nightmare. And its AF is terrible. The Canon, other than its dynamic range IS A PERFECT CAMERA.

Im starting to think Canon will have a Sony sensor next time round

Content is King. Anyone seen Shoah? Profound documentary about the holocaust. Deeply moving and depressingly. Terrible image quality. What camera is highest in terms of usability and "getting the shot"? Gh4?

Thought it might be useful to start a thread on this. My biggest gripe is that I cannot stop the camera continually reverting to afc/afs as standard when I am trying to use manual, in between pressing record (in M stills mode). Of course the record button is world's most annoying....

Andrew - why do you think Canon wont follow Sony? Sony have a top end line too and don't cripple their bodies. Sure the 7d could have been better but when you consider still that the 7d was used in films in the cinema, can we overstate it? My A7s defo looks MUCH BETTER than my 5dmk3, but the 5d line is so important to people all over the world, professionals and otherwise (and many photojournalists) that they are not going to (and cannot) throw that heritage away. Canon are so much more consistent than Nikon with their weird bodies and strange specs. The 7dmk2 is exactly the same as 5dmk3 and their line is clearly delinated. That's a great strategy and better than Nikons weirdness (despite their innovation - which really only amounts to using the latest and greatest Sony sensors)

Raw is tedious. Sony looks amazing to me straight out the box!

Sounds great. And maybe as I used the a7s it might make sense to go with the Sony. In particular on the A7s. I am thinking of buying it. What I cannot fathom is why metabones say their adapters don't work on the full frame bodies. Is that really correct? Or is it more accurate to say it will only work in APS-C crop mode? If the latter, does this lens become a 35-105? Thanks!
