What lenses would you like to see in the future? Design one.

Samyang doing anamorphic 2x versions of their FF prime lenses! -
The camera/firmware race is great! The real problem, and I really have little hope for a solution, is that normal people can't jump from/to a Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, Canon without having to rebuild a lens set. Adapters are OK sometimes or too expensive. For the price of a Metabones adapter I can get a LX100!!!

In full frame you get the full "problems" of your lens. Since most of us loves lenses more for their defects than their "clean" quality, a full frame camera gives you more "optical defects" and less DOF. In a cropped sensor, only the center of your lens is used, which is the more correct optically! Sorry for my english!

It's incredible that someone on Samsung financed and approved that shortfilm!!!

It arrived to 11 punds! -
The people who will support your short will probably be your family and friends, you could start with them. I don't see people giving money to others to make films, unless there is some serious return. Not with you or me, but neither with famous directors!

From $9000 to $5000 is near half of it. I mean, they wanted to make too much money before or too little now. Or it's just me??

Plus they get too warm and stop recording after several minutes! -
Unless they messed up something, the iMac should be faster! I must say I edit LX100 4K files on my Macbook Pro without any problem! The other day I handed a GoPro 2 file, 1080p25 MP4 to a guy with an i7, 16Gb RAM pc notebook and it played stuttering.......

Cinegain, you seem to have used both, how do they intercut together LX100 and FZ1000??
-
I have a Panasonic LX100 and I am very happy with it too! The dials on the body make it very tactile, I nearly never go onto menus!!!

A working All-I codec! ;-)

Someone should invent an ALL-I internet codec!

Biggest update is the squared lens hood! A little step for Canon, a big step for humanity??

Yet another depressing story about Kodak!

Film was better for more than a hundred years, now the truth is that digital is better, much better. Film is a nice flavour and we love it for her defects!!! -
Film emulation for video (with noise, hair, flickr and frame movements), plant growing animation, black bars to simulate 16:9, too shallow DOF, slow motion and now color correction abuse. What will be the next video cliché??
