Did anyone see anything related to audio for the pocket camera? I'd love to see both a headphone jack and mic jack. Even bigger points if they've thought even beyond that with something like an XLR adapter, etc.

Interesting comparison Andrew! I'm going to be adding the D5200 as a suggested camera for my clients that want a fantastic image on a budget. My prediction is that you'll rate the the BMCC #1 and GH3 #2 as the cameras for indy filmmakers to buy this year!

  It is important to look at the current landscape when judging a camera system. Right now, options under $5k are pretty limited. If you are doing Fx/greenscreen or need headroom in post for grading, you won't find many cameras shooting in RAW. Is the camera for everyone? Definitely not. But it will fit the bill for many people's projects.

For anyone that can't afford the BMCC, I suspect that the GH3 is going to swallow up this part of the market for next year or two.   With an image that is at least as good as the 5d3 and lots of other juicy bells-and-whistles -- at a price point that is similar to Canon's current Rebel line -- it'll be a no-brainer for most enthusiasts.
