He is in the UK and I agree its a pain to send it. The border is really giving me a hard time right now but Rich has been super helpful so far.

Rich is doing mine this week, all I can say is send it to him. Rich does great work, I'll let you know how mine is when it comes back. My focus is really tight, like so tight i cant rack during shooting so he is fixing that and applying the close focus mod.

Absolutely agree with mostly everything Im hearing on here. I hate how our industry is man handled by the big studios. I now even cringe at the thought at working a a big factory slamming together VFX porn. I hope there is another way for distribution because I would not want a larger studio to have their greedy little mits all over my work. Kevin Smith went an interesting route with Red State, and along with the kickstarter wave, vimeo on demand, netflix etc I hope we can just by pass the damn studios all together. Digital distribution to large theaters shouldn't take the backing of a major studio anymore its mainly about getting you $8M-$40M to make the film. But maybe Im wrong...Im in a part of thee industry im trying to get out of, if a movie like Life of Pi make $600M and the artists are all out of work its no wonder everything is falling apart, money flowing up and crap flowing down.

Wow thanks for the compliment, I find so much of it gets diluted on mainstream sites so its natural for stuff to go unnoticed..lol at least thats what I tell myself. Im loving the anamorphics and really want to breath some more cinematic life into my stuff so hopefully your facebook page helps kick my ass into gear.

I'll see if I can put something together worth representing lol

Oh my goodness I can't believe it, this community is too awesome to be spoiled by damn thieves. I got lucky I guess when I bought my Isco from Bob, we talked on the phone, exchanged tons of info, scary stuff though ouch.

The 1 issue you guys are having with write speeds is fixed in 1 camera.....The D4 from nikon has that XQD slot everyone loved to hate without trying for some reason. Got to tell you it is very fast, the buffer never fills up and dumping 16G off the card on usb3 is well almost instant Ive never seen a progress bar move that fast. I know magic lantern are not modding the nikon but man if they did that camera would finally be worth owning again. I sold it for a D800 BMCC combo which made more sense but that sensor is ridiculous and honestly XQD should have taken off if more people tried it out I bet you would be getting anything you want out of the camera. Probably the reason no one is adopting it.

That's what they go for if it works well and is in good condition. I paid $300 usd less for mine with diopters included which was a steal now a days. -

Ah good to know that it is not suitable for s16. Is the anamorphic piece better like he says because of the rear element or is it the same. -
