Tony mentions that the autofocusing in live-view is better than the A7RII and GH5. That can't be right, right????

Looking forward to seeing your footage with this!

Everything feels a little slicker to me

Does the BMVA 5" support A and B SDI outputs in a dual link configuration?

This post has me really interested in the F3, but I see it does not have 50/60p. What other cameras of op's spec has 50/60p?

Some comparisons of a few phones here. I'm a Samsung kinda guy but iphone 8's images are a lot more pleasing to my eyes. https://www.theverge.com/2017/9/19/16323570/apple-new-iphone-8-review-plus-2017

I'm really liking this new theme. Seems to load faster on mobile as well.

Yeah I have several of those filters in different sizes and strengths, as well as some others such as the Black ProMist.

Search this forum for a thread called Tiffen Ultra Contrast.

The X-E3 - Fujis new 4K shooting "Mini X-Pro"!
Inazuma replied to Mattias Burling's topic in Cameras
What if I wanted a Fujifilm rangefinder, with a tilt screen and bounce flash? And what if I want a 16-55mm f2.8 with OIS? No choice there! -
The X-E3 - Fujis new 4K shooting "Mini X-Pro"!

The other XE's were noted for their pop up bounce flash. This one has ommited the flash altogether. And no tilt screen. What year is this? I strongly disagree about the 18-55 being cinematic. It's one of the most boring lenses i've ever used. And the lack of good focus ring and constant aperture makes it a poor choice for video. This camera seems to be aimed at photography purists, so good for them. -
When I emailed him last year he said this: There's a post about it somewhere in the thread. Focal length and angular velocity of the pan affect how fast stuff travels on the image, but my measure is relative so it doesn't depend on any of that. I measure the top-down skew, and put that in relation to the frame-to-frame displacement. I know how much time goes on between frames, so I can then use that to calculate how much time passed between the moments when the top and bottom of the frame where captured. To clarify a bit: the key here is that focal length and angular velocity of the pan have exactly the same effect on skew as they have on frame-to-frame displacement.

The XT2 numbers are taken from my shots. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLERrthnToa6Gws4tfM7VN0hd7jqmhKuKW I have not done any measurements myself but it feels pretty similar to the G80 and NX1 from my experience. I would be interested in other XT2 owners shooting similar tests that can be measured. There may be some discrepancy between units.

There is no follow focus gear pictured, so I can only assume it only works electronically with Canon bodies

For an advanced gimbal that can take 7lb (3kg), 759 is cheap.

ive used a generic underwater housing for my Sony rx1r ii. It was scary but worked a charm. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00B8L05Y6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_UPBPzb14MK9VZ

29:09 minutes in. Watch the video and let me know what you think. I'm going to write what I think in teeny tiny letters below so you read it after you make up your own mind. - - - - - - Don't let my opinion bias yours! - I'm super surprised to find than the Canon to me producer the least pleasing results, often by a margin. D5 won for me but the A9 got a few votes too. - -

LukiLink project turns smartphones into an HDMI monitor
Inazuma replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
That's a great idea!! Thanks for the link Andrew. I was thinking about buying a SmallHD Focus but this might be a good budget alternative. -
So @BTM_Pix i tried the two things you mentioned and neither worked unfortunately! Just to be clear, the problem occurs after hitting record. Not when the camera is just on.

So today I received the Nikon mount Vivitar 28mm f2. I'm using it on my Metabones Speed Booster on the Panasonic G80. Bought it for £80. So far I'm really surprised by the quality. I expected loads of softness and flaring but I'm getting neither. I'm almost disappointed! Nice character to the bokeh though. Sorry just a boring plant shot from my back garden. Haven't had a chance to test it anywhere else yet. Tomorrow I'm going to a bbq so will be able to test it out better then. Two unforeseen downsides to the lens are its long focus throw (about 270 degrees) and the front element rotates with the focus. It is otherwise very well made and really quite small!
