Samsung eying return to camera market as Galaxy smartphone shipments fall
Nikkor replied to Andrew Reid's topic in Cameras
But samsung has Erdogans support now!!! ? -
That lens is extremely creamy, but the vignetting is very strong.

Most dual focus anamorphics can go 75mm

They should make a waterproof version

A mockup with the 44x33sensor. Eventually it's going to happen, but I don't think the first version will get it. No posts about this at SAR, lololol

The screws in a large mount actually will have to do less work than in a smaller one.
-
That's not what a large mount is about. You don't need a big mount to make f0.95 lenses, that's only true for long register distances. A big mount gives you stable support for larger lens weight, and you can make large optics close to the sensor that fix the problems digital sensors have with very low angle rays. Time will tell.

The way I see it is that adapters suck, obviously nikon will make an adapter, maybe even with a motor for those nice old af-d lenses, but honestly, holy shit, this new camera looks so damn good, I wouldn't want to use "old crap" on it. That fat mount is going to make for some really interesting optics, I really hope the shutter is very compact and doesn't has too much housing so they can get very close with the glass and make the best wideangle lenses we have seen until now. Obviously Sony fan boys have their ass on fire, this camera looks like what most people in the dslr world have been waiting for, the emount looks like a child's penis in comparison. Canon has to make a difficult choice, they have the "industry standart" EF mount, will they cannibalize it?

IMHO, the adapter thing will be nice if you have lot 's of long lenses, but for anything under 80mm people will go for z mount lenses and dump their old stuff on ebay, great news for poor photographers

It must be funny to see you changing lenses.

Robert get a life, lol. Are you left handed? Most people are right handed, why would those want to do the complicated part with the left hand? (plugging the lens into the lens mount).

What I have noticed is that lenses with large front elements have less vignetting, so the dof is not only shallow in the center but also in the corners. (Compare shots in a classic 50 1.4, the corners will be as dark and dof won't change when stopping down to f2.8.

They can always make a digital vintage, a mirrorless df. A small grip is not really an option with larger lenses.

Mount vignetting happens with tele lenses

I have a good feeling about this system, with a very big mount they can make big lenses near the sensor that correct the light angle to be peroendicular to the sensor, resulting in tiny spectacular lenses. Please someone with actual optics knowledge correct me on this.

I need a cheap fluidhead that can handle a eos m with máx 70-200 lens and a nikon d800 with the same lens. Ideally it would be cheap (150€ ), light and small. I would like to be able to do precise movements. Years ago I bought a manfrotto 500 something and it would always ruin the shot if I let go of the handle.

I'm not shure, there are different revisions. My nikkor-o version has the 3D pop and the oilpainting bokeh. The only problem is blooming in highlights 28mm f2 and the 35 1.4 are some nikkors I should have, but I stopped putting money into small format.

The nikkor 50mm f2 ai is probably the best one, instant cinematic. Pairs pefectly with the nikkor-o 35 f2 PRE-ai. Both have very special bokeh, and smooth rendering. The zeiss is the best in your list, very good lens, but too contrasty and nervous for my taste. This lens will sort of match with modern lenses.
