Yes, but I seems like nobody has tried it. It sort of fits on the gh4 according to an old entry by Andrew, but if the gx80 is a tiny Little Different it might not. Anyway, I'll just do some proper google search once I get to my PC.

Thanks Brian, that's what I'm expecting, it's just a temporary thing to use stabilization with my existing Lens-lineup and quality is not important. So the question is if it fits or not.

Well I have the speedbooster but not the gx80. I know you can get into Trouble mounting it on m43 cameras, that's why I'm asking.

Anybody has tried the BMMC speedbooster on this Camera?

I have to say that when I was looking into getting into the system what bugged me most was that there were no pictures on flickr that I thought looked nice, it all looked rather meh, with lots of CA. Obviously this is my personal perception, but that's what forums are all about I guess. Obviously AF is something nice to have and this is only possible with system lenses. 0.96x Fullframe, fullframe lenses cover this, just add some soft vignetting when wide open. Can't wait for andrew to test it, geometric distortion is another thing that might be problematic (and which would totally defeat the purpose for me of using this thing).

This is for APS-C. The strange thing is that it's a speedbooster designed to work on short flange lenses, so this could be problematic with simetric wideangle lenses, but if it works it could make them look good on digital (vs smeared corners without booster on FF)

I'm totally ignorant when it comes to lights. I was looking into studioflashes for stills but the whole deal with them is a PITA. I remember seeing videos about the aputure 120d and that it was 1000W equivalent, would this be comparable to a 1000W strobe??? Because if it is (even if its just 700W equivalent) it would be a much better deal for me.

Those mitakons probably are cheap lenses with a speedbooster built in. Any lens for 35mm SLR cameras can be used on the speedbooster (just check that you can adapt them, for example, if you have a nikon speedbooster you can only use nikon glass, with a EF booster you can use canon, nikon, contax,etc but you cant use minolta or canon fd lenses,etc...)

We could send a petition to trump to ban all camera companies who don't put atleast 4K10bit prores and compressed raw in their video capable cameras, after all these japs steal your money by holding back on functions and selling new cameras with minimal upgrades over and over again.

This makes me so nervous when shooting stills in liveview , the constant flipping and clapping, it's absurd, only the shutter should click.
