No,no, its DX but you can also record 1080p at 1.3 crop (My guess is that it's for 60fps? like on the d7100) I will be probably buying an a6100, but if the d5600 also gets active d light it might be more interesting for the retarded travel videos I do. Imagine the d5600 gets real 4K, woudln't surprise me at all knowing nikon.

I have no idea why they would perform differently (the filters). You canalways rent a modern lens and see if you need that kind of sharpness.

If you like the d750 image, the d500 will be a lot better, but only in 1080p. You can use active dlighting in videomode now, this boosts DR in a crazy way. Try it out on jpgs with your d750.

Unless you want highres stills with wide angle lenses I don't think you will see the difference.

Look at the red cropped area maaaan its super cropped, look at the image not the table. I don't think the D5 is cropped, but I don't have the pdf for that.

The d5 probably does a full sensor readout and gets hot after 3minutes. The d500 is cropped, it's even less then m43, more like black magic crop.

It will have Active D-lighting in 1080p (a shame it's not on 4K). This means very high dynamic range in video. Challenging video exposures are no problem for the D500, as it also adds in Active D-Lighting to Full HD video to balance exposure values within a scene to help prevent blown-out highlights

Obviously you didn't get the WB right on the sony and that plays in favour for the raw, and its 8bit (or is it 10bit?), but still... Btw, for some reason, when I am logged in on my PC, I can't see images. This doesn't happen when I'm viewing the forum on the IPad or looged out.
