There is just something wrong with the way they teach acting in Spain. Let's take for example "crematorio", the russian bad ass looks like a genious compared to the other actors. The young wife from the Canary Islands, holy shit how many dicks did she suck to get in there? Just watch one episode of a good series, then watch 15min of a Spanish or European series, holy shit that's bad. Not only the actors but also the whole telenovela estetic, bad lighting, bad processing, long lenses for everything because it's easier to hide all the lack of savoir faire,etc... And the scripts are written by and for demented people.

I'm glad I sold my 50d for 250€ a month ago, it eats through batteries like hell it's such a pain in the ass. You can get like 5 mins or even less depending on the baterries health.

Well that's not the typical Hasselblad 80 2,8 The hasselblad lenses I know are soft in the corners and get sharp when stopping down.

The hasselblad planar 80 2.8 isn't sharp either wideopen, it shines @5.6-8, @2.8 it's just another lens. The best 80mm is the mamiya 7 80 4, but you can't mount that on a speedbooster because it's a rangefinder lens.

I bought another 80 1.9 for 100€ two months ago, where do you get your pentax lenses? I have a complete set of pentax 67 and some of them are nice, are the 645 any good?

The mamiya works nice on 35mm so it will only be nicer on MF. But I have to say that the more I use it, the more I like mamiya rz67 glass. It would be pain in the ass to adapt, but it has this microcontrast that's soo nice, but at the same time it has smooth bokeh like a cine lens, it's like a japanese metamorphosis of zeiss and leica.

You can't use that last lens because it has a very short flange focal distance (as said on mflenses.com). There are a lot of fast short teles that could cover 645, but most of them have the same problem.

E mount has a shorter flange focal distance so no.

I know it's a totally different camera, but on my nikons you press OK to change exposure simulation (being in m mode). Maybe sony does have something similar.

When they have TV sets side by side on the display show, all that truemotion stuff makes them look "better". I've turned this off on quite a few TV sets and a lot of people say they liked it better the other way :S What I am missing are 4K movies, I want to buy quite a few classics on 4K for pixel peeping, but they are just not available, there is just this 4K remastered, but it's plain 1080p.

Anyway, it's not true, no worries, the 80 1.9 isn't a strange lens, entrance and exit pupil look the same as on the nikkor 50 1.2 to me (I have them right here in front of me). If there is a problem it will be with long lenses but that would be the same with the other speedboosters and I haven't heard anybody complain yet.

The reason for the filter inserts is because the best place for them is in the optical center, the apodization filter is a nice idea. But make the lens 300$.

Jurrasic World was awful, all these fake emotions in american blockbusters are very boring, it's like watching the walking dead. Let's take for example "2001 a space oddyssey", if they would have done that movie today, at least one hour of footage would be about the saying good bye to the pregnant woman the astronaut is leaving behind with some absurd additional emotional problematics like the emo/goth teenage daughter that is very upset, BLA BLA, seriously I don't get why anybody wants to spend time watching cheesy clichees, every single fucking movie is the same.

That's nice, my personal opinion is that they should copy as close as possible the way the Alexa renders it's prores.

If they want 800$ for a lens and expect to raise 600.000$ they should at least publish some MTFs that are super exciting. Another problem that has come to my mind is dust. On tele lenses you have the filters behind the lenses, you can clean that. But those tiny filters in the center of the lens look like dust nightmare.
