  1. I thought they would make one with the magic mystery sensor of the a7000.
  2. You got it right, but keep in mind two things. The lens has to be or has to cover FF. An aps-c lens (like the sigma) put on a speed booster would vignette. The flange distance of the original mount has to be long. This means you can use lenses for nikon f, sony a, canon ef,etc... mounts, but you can't use the original E mount lenses because they have a short distance. If the 16-35 and 24-70 are for example canon lenses than I think it would be a nice option as they would be "f2 lenses", or just about the same looking as if you were using them on FullFrame. I wonder if it's worth the hassle, is the asp-c mode that great? I thought the rollingshutter was too bad.
  3. Used Sony A7 are getting cheap, they are worthless for video, but as a stills camera they can be quite interesting (although it's a sony...)
  4. Get a nikon fe2 and a hasselblad 500 c/m (900$ both with lens).
  5. Because it's not a standart aspect ratio in these fancy hardware encoders they use.
  6. Trolling is a healthy tradition on Internet forums, specially when it envolves people that are too lazy to use the search function and read.
  7. Oh come on, since you have registered your only contributions are asking things to the point where you want people do the work for you. It's ok to be mentally challenged, but I don't think that's your case.
  8. You really like people to chew your food for you, lol.
  9. The worst thing about the leica stuff is that the lenses are designed to cover 45x30, nothing more. The day true 645 becomes affordable as it once was all these 10.000$ lenses will be like canon apsc glass.
  10. For the price that thing cost you can get real cinema lenses and a camera designed to film. The leica has terrible ergonomics and it's only 45mm, I mean it's nice but not 20,000$ nice. Btw, Hasselblad lenses are great on 6x6, on small sensors they are "just ok".
  11. Why don't you explain this a little further.
  12. Comparing MLraw to compressed video colors is ridiculous because it has nothing to do with what canon gives you but what raw gives you.
  13. Nd filters man, get a good one.
  14. If you enjoy the Canons just get a 5dmkii with aliasing filter, the mkii is getting "cheap".
  15. For the money you have to spend on this and some Canon camera you Can get a Phase One back and lenses, the results will be miles away.
  16. the dragon is just 5mm narrower, nothing mindblowing, nevertheless you start to see the awesomeness.
  17. WOW the music made me so motivated I started to believe 45mm is medium format.
  18. Is the A7s sensor bigger than the d800 sensor?
  19. It's also a good focal length to use 2x anamorphics on FF. My favourite one is the bronica nikkor h-c 75 2.8, its a pain in the ass to adapt because you have to diy but it has the original zeiss planar design and gives this very prominent bokeh, the zenzanon 80 2.4 is also nice but it's smoother. I havent tried the voigtlander 75 1.8 but it might be worth it.
